Treatment for Sores on the Genitals. Acupoint: Pangguangshu.
*Zisheng Jing* records: A person suffered from Yin swelling; the physician applied red earth to the affected area and prescribed Bawei Wan (Eight-Ingredient Pill) for internal use, resulting in recovery. Another child with Yin swelling was cured by applying red earth (modern people may use writing oil or rice paste). If Yin swelling persists for a long time, the condition is incurable. One should urgently moxa the Shuifen (Water Division) acupoint, which helps separate water and grain. Because water and grain are not separated, Yin swelling occurs; moreover, other parts of the body may also swell. In such cases, it is especially advisable to urgently administer Yuyuliang Wan (Hematite Pill).
Treatment for Ding Sores (Furuncles) and Bi Du (Inguinal Abscesses) is effective. Take a thin grass stalk, depending on whether the left or right hand is affected, measure the middle finger from the distal palmar crease to the fingertip (excluding the nail), covering three segments. Break the stalk. Then, starting from the wrist crease, extend the stalk towards the back; the point where the stalk ends is the target acupoint. Use fine, high-quality moxa cones the size of a wheat grain, apply three moxibustion units (zhuang), and relief will follow.
Treatment for Ding Swelling (from *Wei Shi Fang*). Moxa five cun posterior to the distal wrist crease, left side for males, right side for females, seven zhuang leads to cure. This method has proven effective. Although there are many moxibustion methods for Ding swelling, this one is exceptionally effective and unexpected. Alternatively, scrape bamboo shoots to obtain Zhu Ru (Bamboo Shavings), form them into moxa cones, and moxa the Ding swelling site; fourteen zhuang leads to resolution.
Treatment for Yang Sores accompanied by chills. Acupoint: Xiaohai.
Treatment for Dao Ma Yang (Scrofula-like Ulcers). Acupoints: Taichong, Linqi.
Treatment for all types of sores (from *Zisheng Jing*). Moxa the webbing between the first and second toes, fourteen zhuang. Moxaing the tip of the big toe is also beneficial.
Treatment for toxic sores that fail to heal after a long duration. Acupoint: Hegu. Moxa seven zhuang, up to forty-nine zhuang, which is highly effective. Concurrently administer Neituo San (Internal Support Powder).
Treatment for Ding Swelling. If on the left, moxa the anterior aspect of the left elbow crease, measuring three finger-widths outward from the arm's midpoint, between the two tendons, starting from the lower painful/swollen area. If on the right, moxa from the right lower side. Recovery occurs within three days.
Treatment for sores: Moxa the circumference surrounding the sore, which is the best approach.
Treatment for sudden onset of pain after sleep, spreading to half-body erythema and pain, unresponsive to various medicines. Use moxa cones the size of a small finger. Wet paper thoroughly with water, cover approximately five acupoint areas, and wrap around the painful hand. Place the head of a broken wooden spoon on the wet paper, pressing against the painful spot. Then place the moxa cone on the wooden spoon and moxa briefly. All pains are eliminated. The moxa site will exude thick fluid, develop scar-like marks resembling eggplant skin, and then heal.
Treatment for Dao Ma Wei (Scrofula with Atrophy) and Yuanye Swelling (from *Zisheng Jing*). Acupoints: Zhangmen, Shaohai.
Treatment for Dao Ma axillary swelling, shoulder swelling, and lip injuries. Moxa Taichong.
Treatment for Dao Ma Wei axillary swelling. Acupoint: Jiegu.
