When defecation and urination are obstructed and difficult, it is all caused by the deficiency of the Large Intestine (Large Intestine) and the invasion of pathogenic factors. Furthermore, the Fu organs (Hollow Organs) have high and low positions. The Lung (Lung), as a Fu organ in this context (referring to its connection with the Large Intestine or upper jiao), is located in the upper part of the body, connecting centrally to the Earth-element organs (Spleen and Stomach). If Lung Qi is deficient, it leads to fatigue; if Lung Qi is excessive, it results in strangury (Strangury). Heat qi rushing downward causes scanty urine and difficulty in flow.
Diseases induced by taking mineral drugs (Mineral Drugs) that lead to stagnation and obstruction of the Small and Large Intestines are due to disharmony between Yin and Yang, blockage and stasis of Ying and Wei (Defensive and Nutritive Qi), weakness of the stomach and intestines, inability of body fluids to circulate freely, and accumulation of waste matter in the intestines.
