The nature of stone is heavy and sinking. After ingestion, it returns to the Kidney. If it triggers a reaction, heat generates in the Zang-Fu organs, and body fluids become dry. The Kidney dislikes dryness; when the Kidney is dry, thirst occurs, leading to an urge to drink water.
Generally, Yang Qi resides on the exterior, while Yin Qi resides in the interior. Thus, there is neither pure Yin at the bottom nor pure Yang at the top. Both must be balanced and unobstructed so that the Qi of the Five Zang organs does not lack nourishment.
