He Nu Jian Yao (Compound Crossbow Arrow Poison)
Da Jin Teng (Corydalis Tuber), Fei Gu Teng (Toxic Vine), Di Ju (Ground Chrysanthemum), Di You Ma (Ground Hemp), Lv Gong Tao (Lv Gong Ribbon), Zhao Mu (Zhao Wood), Men Duo Luo Gen (Men Duo Luo Root), Bai She Teng (White Snake Vine), Bi Ma Zi Gen (Castor Bean Root), Bo Leng Gen (Bo Leng Root).
When using, extract the thatch grass. Burn until it turns yellow. Take out the bamboo mat. Use the medicinal juice in the bowl to mix with Kuo Yao Mu (Arrow Poison Base). Grind thoroughly in a mortar and pestle until smooth, neither too thin nor too thick. Apply directly onto the arrowhead. After drying, smoke the arrowhead with fumes from burning Su Ke Cao (Poppy Shell Grass). This arrow causes death upon contact with blood. For every qian (approx. 3.7g) of Kuo Yao Mu, apply to seven arrowheads. To store this arrow, keep it in a tube to prevent loss of potency. Hang it frequently near smoldering ash or smoky fire. When applying the medicine, wrap a small amount of cotton around the arrowhead first. Then apply the medicine. If the medicine does not adhere, use the antidote for the arrowhead poison.
Da Ang Tou (Antidote for trismus/jaw stiffness; also treats swelling, pain, and throat pain when applied topically), Mu Tong Guan (Antidote for poisoning; treats abdominal pain), Xiao Ang Tou (Antidote for dispersal; treats bone and vessel pain), Da Xu San (Antidote for dispersal), Ming Ling (Antidote for vomiting), Fei Teng (Antidote for stiffness), Long Teng (Antidote for body spasms/twisting), Ban Tian Teng (Antidote for weakness of hands and feet), Ji Hu Sun Jiang Diao (Antidote for poisoning), Jin Diao Tong Yin Teng (Guides out vital qi), Shou Teng (Antidote for... [text unclear]). Use Wubeizi (Galla Chinensis) as powder. If not sour, double the dose. Immediately take this medicine beforehand: Ding Xin Wan Formula.
Mu Ding Xiang (Cardamom Seed, halved), Mu Xiang (Costus Root), Peng Sha (Borax), Yan Xiao (Saltpeter), Gan Cao (Licorice Root), Chen Xiang (Agarwood), Xiong Huang (Realgar), Chen Sha (Cinnabar) (all in equal parts). Mix the aforementioned fifty ingredients together, burn to ash. Grind finely, mix with wine, and take orally. The poison is fully resolved. After decocting the medicine, the compound is ready. Chew one cake slowly per dose. Swallow with ginger soup. If diarrhea persists, replenish with cool water. Wash hands with cool water again. Then eat porridge.
Da Ji (Euphorbia Lathyris, 5 liang), Di You Ma (1 liang), Tu Dang Gui (Chinese Angelica Root, 1 liang). Grind into powder. Form into cakes with thick rice paste. This immediately neutralizes the poison. Qian Li Jiang (also known as Water Pumpkin).
Mu Gua (Chaenomeles Fruit), Zi Su Ye (Perilla Leaf), Gui (Cinnamon Twig) (each half liang), Wu Mei Rou (Mume Fruit Flesh), Chi Fu Ling (Red Poria, half liang). Grind into fine powder. Make pills with refined honey, size of a bullet.
Another Formula: Bai Yao Jian (Plum Decoction Cake), Wu Mei Rou (Mume Fruit Flesh), Zi Su Ye (Perilla Leaf), Ren Shen (Ginseng Root), Gan Cao (Licorice Root), Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogon Tuber). All in equal parts. Grind into fine powder. Make pills with refined honey. Hold in mouth to dissolve slowly.
Medicinal Arrow Formula: In August, harvest Wu Hui (Aconite Lateral Root). Crush the stem and extract juice. Decoct with water to make She Wang (Poisonous Aconite Resin). Apply to arrows. It can bring down running beasts within ten steps. It kills humans. Resolve the poison quickly.
