When a person suffers injury to the Kidney Meridian due to overexertion, Kidney Deficiency (Xu) leads to Heat in the Bladder. The Qi fails to transform and transport, resulting in dribbling urination, astringent pain in the urinary pathway, and exacerbation upon exertion; hence it is called Lao Lin (Exhaustion Strangury).
