The Yellow Emperor asked Su Nü: "Men receive Qi, with Yin and Yang being equal. Men belong to Yang and are prone to diseases of the ears and eyes first. This stems from their preferences. If they indulge in sexual activity excessively, it leads to impotence (Yinwei, erectile dysfunction)."
Women should be cautious.
There are deficiencies and excesses in the Qi of the six Fu organs and five Zang organs.
Regarding the body's daily routine, lower abdomen condition, state of the penis (Yujing), vision, fearfulness in the heart, forgetfulness, a sensation like a pestle pounding the chest/diaphragm, coughing with rebellious Qi, these are signs of damaging the Middle Jiao through sexual exhaustion, leading to physical emaciation. One must not neglect prevention. Violating these taboos results in disharmony of deficiency and excess in the Zang-Fu organs.
The causes of illness, original sources, and symptoms are as follows:
The Yellow Emperor said: "Scanty essence is one of the Five Exhaustions and Seven Injuries." How should it be treated?
