Insects are animals. They are all transformed by Wind. When Wind enters the Five Zang Organs, it transforms into five types of insects, resulting in five types of Leprosy (Lai). If Wind enters the Liver, the insect is green; if Wind enters the Heart, the insect is red.
Xionghuang San (Realgar Powder): Treats severe大风癞 (Severe Leprosy with Insects). Extract the wind-toxic saliva from within the sores to kill various leprosy insects, then apply externally.

Tongshen San (Spirit-Connecting Powder, also known as Ersheng San, from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats severe大风癞疾 (Severe Wind Leprosy). For those whose nasal bridge has not yet collapsed, taking this will result in insect expulsion and cure without exception.
Liuhuang Jiu (Sulfur Wine, from *Zhizhi Fang*): Kills leprosy wind insects.
