[Supplementary Discussion]
The condition of Cold in the Heart (Xin Zhong Han) is characterized by heart pain radiating to the back, and back pain radiating to the heart region, resembling the presentation of Gu Zhu disease (蛊注 - a type of parasitic or toxic accumulation disease). This is because the Heart is a Yang Zang organ (阳脏 - an organ associated with Yang energy); when invaded by Cold, the pathogenic Cold becomes severe. The mutual radiation of pain between the heart and the back indicates that the Cold Pathogen has deeply penetrated the Zang organs.
