The methods for setting bones and knitting sinews are prepared for emergencies, not for leisure. The pain of severed sinews and fractured bones is alleviated when minor sprains or dislocations are slightly stopped; appropriate external medicines should be applied, wrapped with cotton, kept warm, and the patient should rest quietly until recovery.

Method for Reducing Dislocated Mandible
Have the patient sit low. Wrap both thumbs with a handkerchief, insert them into the patient's mouth, and firmly grasp the root of the mandible from inside and outside. Shake it left, right, up, and down to reduce the dislocation.

Method for Fractured Clavicle
Have the patient sit upright. Lift the affected arm, palpate and manipulate the bone to align it properly. Apply several patches of Xurong Xiaodu San (Frankincense Detoxification Powder). Cover with soft silk folded like a fist, supporting it under the axilla. Internally administer Wutou San (Aconite Powder) for analgesia.

Method for Reducing Dislocated Scapula

Method for Fractured Forearm Bone
Have the patient sit upright. Press and manipulate the bone to ensure it is straight. Apply medication and bind according to the previous method. It is advisable for the patient to look upwards with the palm facing up.

Method for Fractured Ribs and Limbs
Administer Wutou San (Aconite Powder) for anesthesia. Then press and manipulate the bone to align it. Apply several patches of Xurong Xiaodu San (Frankincense Detoxification Powder) externally and internally. Take Daozhi San (Stagnation-Draining Powder) and Fuyuan Huoxue Tang (Restore Origin Blood-Invigorating Decoction) to deliver the medicine.
