Xionghuang (Realgar, 2 qian, processed by water flotation), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 0.5 liang), Yujin (Curcumae Radix, 2 qian), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, 0.5 liang), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 0.5 liang), Huangdan (Lithargyrum, 0.5 liang, processed by water flotation). The above herbs are ground into a fine powder. Determine the amount of medicine based on the size of the swollen area. Take half a cup of fresh well water, scoop the powder into it. After a moment, the powder will settle; skim off the floating portion. Spread the medicine onto small paper flowers and apply it to the swelling. Continuously sweep the area with a chicken feather dipped in cool water.
