The so-called "chuang" (sores/ulcers) initially resembles "feichuang" (hypertrophic scabies/fungal infection), preferring to appear on the hands and feet, often growing symmetrically. Its course fluctuates with the lunar cycle, causing pain, itching, and fissures. Throughout the four seasons, it recurs as it heals, rooted in dampness stagnation.
Formulas for treating such conditions:
Baihua She San (White-Headed Snake Powder) [from *Shenghui Fang*]: Treats skin scabies caused by heat-toxin and wind-dampness.
Ingredients: Baihua She (*Dinagena polylepis*, White-headed snake) one strip (skin and bones removed, soaked in wine, roasted until slightly yellow); Fengfang (*Vespa crabro nest*, Hornet's nest) three liang (lightly roasted); Kushen (*Coptidis Rhizoma*, Coptis) four liang (chopped); Fangfeng (*Saposhnikoviae Radix*, Saposhnikovia root) four liang (radicle removed); Xuanshen (*Scrophulariae Radix*, Figwort root) three liang; Bijieli (*Tribuli Fructus*, Tribulus fruit)...
Note: This formula lacks preparation and administration instructions.
Chuji Gao (Chuji Ointment) [from *Shengji Zonglu*]: Treats sores.

Preparation: Decoct herbs in oil until boiling, then add other ingredients. Simmer for half a day.
Application: Massage onto the sore, three to five times daily, until healed.
Loulou San (Rhinacanthus Powder) [from *Shenghui Fang*]: Treats wind-heat-induced scabies and swelling.
Ingredients: Loulu (*Rhinacanthi Nasuti Herba*, Rhinacanthus herb) one liang; Qianghuo (*Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix*, Notopterygium rhizome) two liang; Chuan Shengma (* Cimicifugae Rhizoma*, Black cohosh rhizome) one liang; Mutong (*Akebiae Caulis*, Akebia stem) one liang (stir-fried); Zhike (*Aurantii Fructus*, Bitter orange fruit) two liang (bran-fried until slightly yellow, pith removed); Chi Shao Yao (*Paeoniae Radix Rubra*, Red peony root)...
