治心热风痫。（出本草）
Da Sheng Dan (also known as Wulong Wan, from *Bai Yi Xuan Fang*): Treats wind epilepsy and dark wind. Symptoms include limb paralysis, traction and spasms of the hands and feet, deviation of the mouth and eyes, unclear speech, and difficulty walking.
Formula: Chuanwu (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) five liang, peeled, navel removed, tip removed, sliced; Wulingzhi (Trogopterori Faeces) five liang, raw use, fresh ones selected. Grind the above herbs into a fine powder, add a small amount of Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum) and Shexiang (Moschus), drip water to knead and mix evenly.
Note: Knead open by hand; do not let pregnant women touch it to avoid harm. This medicine should be divided for children to take, in two doses. Take on an empty stomach. Any medicine in the country, yet called divine medicine treating date pills (from *De Sheng Tang*): Treats critical conditions of various wind-induced epilepsies. Obtaining and using this prescription often saves lives.
Formula: Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus) one jin, peeled, strings removed, crushed; Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba) three fen, nodes removed; Feizao (Jujubae Fructus) one sheng; Hao Jingmo (High-quality Beijing Ink) three qian. Use a large clay pot capable of holding two dou of water. Place the Zaojiao, Mahuang, and Jingmo into the clay pot and decoct with water until reduced to five or six bowls. Filter out the dregs. Continue to boil the liquid into a paste of two bowls. Then add the dates into the paste and slowly boil until dry, so that the medicinal properties enter the dates. Store in a ceramic jar covered with paper. Take one date daily, up to three or five. After taking, the next morning, wind-phlegm and saliva will be discharged through the stool; the effect is significant.
Treating wind epilepsy attacks with neck stiffness, staring straight ahead, and loss of consciousness. This condition is caused by heat in the Liver channel. If the disease occurs, this medicine should be taken.
Formula: Qingfen (Calomelas), Baifan (Alumen), Dingtou Daizheshi (Haematitum) in equal parts. Grind into powder, mix with rice water infused with hair, and take orally.
Yinmo Wan (Silver Powder Pill, from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats wind epilepsy persisting for years without cure. During attacks, there is coma, confusion, vomiting of foam, or producing cow-like sounds.
Formula: Yinmo (Argenti Folium vel Lamina) half liang; Tiefen (Cupri Carbonas) one liang; Hei Mao'er Fen (Felis Catus Excrementum) one liang, stir-fried; Huangdan (Lithargyrum) two liang. Mix the above ingredients, heat and grind evenly, and form pills with vinegar and steamed rice.

Yangqishi Wan (Yangqi Stone Pill, from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats wind epilepsy. Accumulated phlegm in the chest and diaphragm does not disperse; during attacks, there is mental restlessness, aversion to shouting, coma, vomiting of foam, and convulsions.
Formula: Yangqishi (Stilbitum) one liang; Huhuang (Sulfur) one liang combined with Shuiyin (Hydrargyrum) to form cinnabar-like grains; Shuiyin (Hydrargyrum) one liang; Huangdan (Lithargyrum) one liang. Grind all ingredients finely, seal tightly. Form pills with millet rice.
Another Prescription (from *Shenghui Fang*):
Formula: Zhusha (Cinnabaris) one liang, finely ground and washed with water (Shuifei); Qianshuang (Plumbii Acetas) one liang; Tiefen (Cupri Carbonas) one liang; Mayaxiao (Natrii Sulfas) one liang. Grind all ingredients finely like powder, form pills with jujube flesh.
Mituo seng Wan (Lead Monoxide Pill, from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats wind epilepsy where, during attacks, vision becomes dark, there is coma, vomiting of foam, and inability to recognize people.

Chitou Wan (Owl Head Pill, from *Jisheng Fang*): Treats wind epilepsy, regardless of age, with increasingly frequent attacks, vomiting of foam and saliva.
Formula: Fei Chitou (Owl Head) one piece, burned to ash; Guo Dan (Vermilion/Red Lead) five qian, finely ground; Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus) five pieces, stir-fried with vinegar. Grind into fine powder, form pills with glutinous rice paste, size of mung beans.
Shenzhu Wan (Ginseng and Cinnabar Pill, from *Jisheng Bacui*): Treats wind epilepsy, highly effective.
Formula: Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Gafen (Concha Tridacnae), Zhusha (Cinnabaris). Equal parts ground into fine powder. Form pills with pig heart blood, size of paulownia seeds. Take thirty pills per dose, swallowed with gold and silver water.
Chensha San (Cinnabar Powder, from *Shibian Liangfang*): Treats various epilepsies caused by wind-pathogens, including delirious speech, running wildly, mental trance, confused thinking, singing and crying alternately, and abnormal diet.
Formula: Kuaikuai Zhusha (Chunk Cinnabar) four qian, finely ground; Suanzao Ren (Ziziphi Spinosae Semen) two qian; Ruxiang (Olibanum) one qian, ground. Mix evenly. Depending on the patient's alcohol tolerance, drink freely first... then arrange... closely observe. Wake up... sleep for three days.
Ci Huang Wan (Orpiment Pill, from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats impending wind epilepsy, characterized by lack of spirit, blurred vision, convulsions, aversion to sound, tongue biting, and foaming at the mouth.

Zhusha San (Cinnabar Powder, from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats wind epilepsy with mental madness, frequent spitting of saliva, shouting, and inability to recognize people.
Formula: Zhusha (Cinnabaris) two liang (bright quality, wrapped in gold leaf block by block); Cishi (Magnetitum) three liang, ground to powder; Qian (Plumbum) two liang, stir-fried with two liang of Shuiyin (Hydrargyrum) to form cinnabar-like grains, finely ground.
