Various formulas record Jiaopo Wan with added Fuzi or Ganjiang, which are not quick-acting. This formula is precise and matches the condition like magic. Do not add other medicines. My relative Mr. Xu suffered from Spleen disease for over a year, whole-body yellow edema unable to rise, completely lacking appetite. His nephew, the Transport Commissioner, sent good doctors daily but none worked. Master Fu transmitted this formula. After taking it for about ten days, he gradually recovered. Since then, he took it regularly, his muscles became firm, his appetite doubled, his face became ruddy, at over sixty years old, he walks dozens of li daily, strong as a youth. Often, people do not understand where the medicine hits the disease, looking down on the surface, yet achieving miraculous results. Adding other medicines often causes failure. This cannot be guessed by intention alone.
Another formula treats whole-body yellow edema unable to rise and complete inability to eat; taking it leads to immediate recovery.
