Snakes belong to the category of fire-type insects. Their heat energy is extremely intense, and their toxicity is very severe. Snakes produced in different regions have various names, but they are particularly abundant in the Guangnan region. There, the mountains are lofty and the terrain is damp.

However, the large Hui snake (a type of venomous snake), especially the male, is cold as ice. This is a highly toxic and malignant snake; if untreated, death occurs within one day. If the head does not disperse, this snake is named "Chi Di" (Red Emperor), and its toxicity is relatively mild. If the wound becomes cold and is untreated, death will occur in seven days. The Fushé (pit viper) is not very long in body shape, has a flat head and pointed mouth, spots on the head, and red patterns on the body. The spot colors can also be green or black. When a person is bitten by it, it is usually because its head and abdomen were touching the ground. They are very common in the mountains of Jiangdong. Its toxicity is the most fierce; one must be cautious when walking in the grass.
