(Treated by stir-frying on earth) Cinnabar (Shazha, 朱砂) (ground and floated), Tribulus Fructus (Bajili, 白蒺藜) ( ), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 防风) (radicle removed, each 3 liang), Borneolum Syntheticum (Longnao, 龙脑) (0.5 liang ground), Naja naja or Bungarus multicinctus meat (Wushe, 乌蛇) (soaked in wine, roasted, skin and bones removed, 8 liang). The above are ground into fine powder. Honey is refined to form pills the size of a corn kernel. Take one pill per dose, chew with Mint Wine (Bohe Jiu, 薄荷酒). Administer once daily. For severe cases, administer twice.
Postpartum convulsions, delirium, hallucinations. Grind Cinnabar (Shazha, 朱砂) with wine for administration. Postpartum edema due to deficiency, frequent exacerbation of Blood Wind (Xue Feng, 血风) causing drowsiness, body sensation like needle pricks, hair falling out with combing, sallow complexion, and cardiac rebellion. All treated by decocting Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 当归) in wine and chewing/swallowing. Administer twice daily. For treating Cold Damage (Shanghan, 伤寒), use fried Scallion and Fermented Soybean Wine (Congchi Jiu, 葱豉酒) to chew and swallow one or two pills; cover with blankets to induce sweating for immediate recovery.
Pediatric convulsions: dissolve a small amount in Mint Wine (Bohe Jiu, 薄荷酒) for administration. Adult acute facial paralysis, trismus, aphonia: dissolve in Mint Wine (Bohe Jiu, 薄荷酒) and灌 (administer). Usually taken with Tea Wine (Cha Jiu, 茶酒) at any time without restriction, showing miraculous efficacy.
Shenxiao Huoluo Dan (Miraculous Efficacy Meridian-Activating Pill) (from Desheng Tang Formula): Treats sudden apoplexy in men and women with loss of consciousness, inability to rise from lying down, when other medicines fail. Take two pills, dissolve in a large cup of good wine, and灌 (administer). For facial deviation, slurred speech, body numbness, trismus, aphonia: take one pill, chew finely, or have someone assist in walking. For hemi-cephalic headache, vertigo with sensation of falling: take with wine. If unconscious after half an hour, take another pill. Recovery is verified by expulsion. Adults over forty should take it regularly... Yuan Shaoqing said that doctors once treated Wang Tongzhi's illness multiple times... The hall constantly prepares and distributes it widely. When I used this medicine to treat wind diseases, I had no free days. I record this formula to spread its transmission.

One pill before bed, one pill on an empty stomach in the morning. Best for regular use by those with wind diseases.

Avoid raw/cold foods, pork, chicken, toxic fish, and sticky/moving wind-inducing substances.

The above are chopped. Take 1 liang per dose, two cups of water, decoct to one cup, strain. Take warm. If cloudy weather, add three slices of Ginger Root (Shengjiang, 生姜) and decoct. Take on an empty stomach. Decoct dregs again before bed. Must be taken far from meals. Empty stomach dose: take Er Dan Wan (Two Cinnabar Pills) as heavy dose. Before bed: take Sibai Wan (Four Whites Pill) as light dose. Establish method: Movement calms the Spirit, stillness clears the Lung. Suppose inducing slight sweat with one qi: use Yufeng Tang 3 liang, add Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang, 麻黄) 1 liang, divide into four doses. Add five to seven slices of Ginger Root (Shengjiang, 生姜) per dose, take on empty stomach, follow with porridge. Slight sweat is desirable.
