In individuals with weak stomach qi, excessive drinking occurs. The nature of alcohol is hot, causing thirst and leading to increased fluid intake. When encountering obstructed and astringent airways, both alcohol and fluids fail to digest. They remain stagnant in the hypochondriac region, accumulating within the abdomen, causing abdominal distension and fullness.
Qixiang Wan (Seven Fragrances Pill) [from *Ruizhutang Fang*]: Treats injuries caused by excess alcohol and food. It resolves retained fluids, eliminates accumulations, expands the diaphragm, and promotes spleen function.
Ingredients: Dingxiang (Clove), Ruxiang (Frankincense, ground), Muxiang (Aucklandia Root), Shexiang (Musk), Anshixiang (Benzoin), Chenxiang (Agarwood) (each 1.5 qian); Huoxiang (Patchouli) (each 2.5 qian); Qingju pi (Green Tangerine Peel, pith removed); Doukou (Cardamom Seed, baked in flour, shelled, oil not removed, separately ground).
Preparation: The aforementioned herbs are pulverized into fine powder. Honey is refined and mixed with the powder, kneaded thoroughly, and formed into pills the size of paulownia seeds.
Dosage: Take fifteen pills per dose.
