Additionally add *Ruxiang* (Frankincense), *Moyao* (Myrrh), and *Xieshe* (Musk), which can sustain residual life and reconnect severed limbs. For copper coins of the size of "Shang Wu Zhu" (approx. 5 zhu weight), use ten pieces; for smaller coins of twenty wen value, reduce the dosage of all herbs by half. Grind into fine powder. Take one qian per dose, mixed with warm wine on an empty stomach, followed by food to suppress the medicine's movement. This prescription was transmitted by Fang Xun, nephew of my wife, and has remarkable efficacy.
Sumu Wine (from *Shengji Zonglu*): Treats injuries from beating and wind invasion through wounds.
Use two liang of *Sumu* (Sappan Wood), pound until rotten and grind into paste. Add two sheng of wine, decoct to obtain one sheng. Divide into three doses. Take one dose on an empty stomach, at noon, and before sleep.
Canzi Wine (from *Shengji Zonglu*): Treats injuries from beating and wind invasion through wounds.

Shu Dahuang Decoction: Treats lower back pain from blunt trauma, accumulation of evil blood and stasis, unbearable pain.
*Dahuang* (Rhubarb Root) and *Shengjiang* (Fresh Ginger Slice) (each cut into bean-sized pieces, half liang each). Stir-fry together until scorched yellow. Soak in one da zhan of water overnight. Strain at wugeng (3-5 AM). Take in one dose. The excrement discharged at dawn will resemble chicken liver, indicating the expulsion of evil matter.
Huoxue Dan (Blood-Invigorating Pill) (from *Yonglei Linqing Fang*): Treats blunt trauma injuries, bone fractures and tendon ruptures, swelling and pain due to blood stasis, irritability, paralysis and stubborn bi-syndrome caused by wind-phlegm, women's blood-wind disease, postpartum edema due to failed blood, qi-blood pain, soreness and pain of four limbs triggered by fatigue. Pregnant women should not take this.
*Qingsangpi* (Mulberry Bark) (one jin, treated with good vinegar to extinguish fire property, dried between mulberry trees), *Gusuibu* (Drynaria Rhizome) (processed and dried), *Nanxing* (Arisaema Rhizome) (soaked in fresh ginger juice overnight, then dried), *Chishaoyao* (Red Peony Root) and *Baishaoyao* (White Peony Root) (dried together), *Niuxi* (Achyranthes Root) (washed and dried), *Chuanwu* (Aconite Lateral Root) (processed), *Xiongheidou* (Black Soybean) (each one liang six qian), *Zirantong* (Pyrite) (quenched in vinegar), *Mubiezi Rou* (Seed of Momordica Cochinchinensis) (sliced and stir-fried with flour until red, each eight fen), *Jingxixin* (Asarum Root) (one liang, dried), *Moyao* (Myrrh) (four qian), *Ruxiang* (Frankincense) (six qian, separately ground), *Baijiaoxiang* (Elemi Resin) (three qian), *Xuexie* (Dragon's Blood) (six qian). Grind all into powder. Make pills with glutinous rice flour paste boiled in vinegar, pounded a thousand times, rolled by hand. If done too slowly, the pills may crack. Large pills weigh six qian, medium pills weigh three qian. Dry in humid weather, apply willow gum to hands to prevent sticking, coat two or three pills with willow gum as an outer layer for storage. Take half a pill per dose, dissolve in non-ash wine, gently boil for three to five boils, take warm at any time. Store in a gauze bag in a clean place; it lasts long without spoiling.
Treats skin and flesh rupture from injuries, and knife wounds.
Urgently use green onion whites that have not touched water, finely chop, stir-fry until extremely hot, and wrap around the wound. Bleeding stops and pain subsides. Alternatively, use late silkworm sand as powder, mix with duanshi (calcined stone) and apply to the wound to stop pain, bleeding, and promote healing.

Except for frankincense, propolis, and pine resin, dry the rest, grind finely. Use three jin of clear oil, heat and cool, soak the medicines. Place in a silver vessel, maintain with strong fire for three days. Do not let it boil vigorously to avoid damaging medicinal power. Keep bubbles resembling fish eyes. When fragrant white angelica turns yellow, strain. Pour into a clean pot, add eight liang of yellow beeswax, two liang of finely sifted red lead oxide. Then add separately ground propolis and frankincense. Stir constantly with locust or willow branches. Simmer over slow fire until ointment forms. Take half a fen of ointment first, coat with clam powder, swallow with warm wine. Then massage the affected area with the ointment. If fractured, straighten with bamboo splints, then massage. For throat-wrinding wind where swallowing is difficult, massage externally on the throat first. Wait for internal looseness, then take orally. For toothache with floating teeth and bleeding, pour medicine into tooth gaps. If clear fluid comes out, spit it.
