Jianri Malaria (Malaria occurring every other day) refers to malaria that manifests with an interval of one day between attacks. This condition arises because the pathogenic factor and Wei Qi (Defensive Qi) travel together through the Six Fu Organs, but at times they become separated and fail to interact. Consequently, the pathogenic factor presses inward upon the Five Zang Organs. Due to the distant location and deep-seated nature of the pathology, the movement of Qi is sluggish, preventing it from exiting simultaneously with Wei Qi. This is why the attack occurs only after two or three days.
