Han Shan (Sweat Shirt) primarily treats sudden collapse due to invasion by pathogenic factors or "ghostly qi," characterized by unconsciousness, cold extremities, clear blood flowing from the mouth and nose, or severe twisting pain in the chest, hypochondrium, and abdomen, resembling a ghost strike, where massage is contraindicated. It also treats hematemesis (vomiting blood) and epistaxis (nosebleed). Use old, soiled sweat shirts, burn them to ash, and administer two qian with boiling water or wine. For male patients, use women's undergarments; for female patients, men's undergarments may also be used. (From *Bencao Gangmu*) [Names] Zhongdan (Inner garment), Dang (Crotch/Panel), Xiutan (Shameful exposure). Li Shizhen stated: In ancient times, short jackets were called shan; now long garments are also called shan. Wang Zhuo (*Zhi Gu Zi*) stated: During the battle between King Han and King Xiang, sweat soaked through the inner garment, leading to the name change to Han Shan. Liu Xi (*Shi Ming*) stated: Sweat clothes are called Ze Yi in the *Book of Songs*, or alternatively Bitan or Xiutan. Cut from six chi of fabric, sufficient to cover the chest and back, named thus because it covers shameful exposure. Also called Dang because the front panel covers the chest and the back panel covers the back. [Treatment] (*Shengsheng Bian*): For infants crying at night, place the woolen shirt worn initially by the infant in a bottle; the child will naturally stop crying.
Bing Huan Yi (Patient's Clothing) primarily treats epidemic febrile diseases. Take the clothing of the initial patient, steam it over a steamer, and then no one in the family will be infected. (From *Bencao Gangmu*)
Non-toxic.
Bu (Cloth) treats metrorrhagia (uterine bleeding) and metal weapon wounds; use after burning to ash. (From *Pinhui Xuji*) [Names] Nongbu (Thick cloth), Xibu (Thin cloth), Zihua Bu (Purple flower cloth). Li Shizhen stated: There are cotton cloths and hemp cloths. The character combines "hand" and "towel," forming a compound ideograph. [Origin] Found everywhere. [Processing] Burning to smoke, grinding and soaking in water to extract juice, vinegar-boiling Qing Bu. [Treatment] (Chen Cangqi *Bencao Fang*): Treats wound injuries affected by wind-water; smoke Qing Bu and熏 (fumigate) the wound with the vessel opening; when evil fluids discharge, pain and itching resolve. (*Qianjin Fang*): For Huoluan ( Cholera-like syndrome) with muscle spasms moving inward, when desperate, apply Qing Bu boiled in vinegar; replace when cool. (Another prescription): Treats post-illness red eyes; soak Qing Bu in cold water and compress; change frequently. (*Huo Ren Shu*): Treats severe Yang Du (Yang toxicity) mania in Shanghan (Cold Damage); soak one chi of Qing Bu in cold water and apply to the chest. (*Shenghui Fang*): Treats eye pain, dryness, and inability to close eyes; heat Qing Bu and moxa/compress; also make pillows steamed with soybeans. [Combined Treatment] (Chen Cangqi *Bencao Fang*): Treats malignant sores to prevent water entry; mix Qing Bu with wax, burn in a tube to fumigate; waterproofs the area. (Deng Bifeng Miscellaneous Prescriptions): Treats ulcerated sores; mix five qian of aged mugwort (Ai Ye) and two qian of realgar (Xionghuang) with Qing Bu, roll into a large moxa cone, ignite and fumigate; flows hot water several times until healed. (Seng Tan Collection Verified Prescriptions): Treats continuous vaginal bleeding in women due to improper sexual intercourse; burn Qing Bu to ash and insert locally; heals in two applications. [Detoxification] (Chen Cangqi): Qing Bu resolves various toxins, epidemic irritant toxins, pediatric fever/chills, erysipelas; soak in water and drink the juice.
Xin Ma Bu (New Hemp Cloth) expels blood stasis; treats amenorrhea, abdominal pain in women, and postpartum blood pain. Wrap one he of white salt in several layers of cloth, grind, and take with warm wine. (Gangmu Fenlu)

Bai Mumian Bu (White Cotton Cloth): Treats tight, small lips unable to open/close, difficulty eating; this condition is fatal if untreated. Make into a large moxa cone, place on a knife/axe, burn until sweat appears, wipe and apply; repeat 3-5 times daily.
Qing Mumian Bu (Blue/Green Cotton Cloth): Soak in juice and mix with fresh ginger juice to treat Huoluan; burn to ash and apply to malignant sores that have not healed for years; stops bleeding from moxibustion wounds and prevents wind-water invasion; smoke to treat coughs, kill parasites; fumigate tiger/wolf bite wounds to drain toxic fluid; add to plasters to treat carbuncles, fox urine sores, and other malignant ulcers. (Bencao Shiyi) Burn to ash, take with wine to treat cracked lips with sores and bad breath; still apply mixed with fat; efficacy similar to Indigofera Tinctoria Leaf (Lan Dian). (Gangmu Fenlu)
