Qi: Insufficient qi; deficiency of qi should be supplemented. [Ri Hua Zi says]: Assists blood vessels and brightens the eyes. [Combination Therapy]: Roasted and boiled again with green onions and vinegar, it regulates the five zang organs, assists spleen qi, aids digestion, and regulates the twelve meridians. [Contraindications]: Persons suffering from sores and boils should not eat it, as it easily induces suppuration; excessive consumption causes mental stagnation; if left overnight, it is inedible, and eating it causes coldness in the abdomen and various diseases.

It treats all types of bone splinters in adults and children, or bamboo/wood splinters stuck in the throat that cannot come down. After taking the medicine, if belching occurs, the bone will be expelled with phlegm; if not expelled, drink more warm wine to induce vomiting, which is ideal. Drink wine according to tolerance. If still not expelled, decoct another piece and take it; none fail to expel. This medicine works for any bone splinter lodged in the zang-fu organs for a long time, causing pain, yellow complexion, and emaciation; after taking it, they are all expelled. [Contraindications]: Patients with cold-dampness should not eat it.
