It can dissolve copper. Combined with Chen Hai Zhe (Meterepeae Medulla) decocted in water and taken, it eliminates stubborn phlegm in the chest and unblocks the bowels. For pediatric aphthous stomatitis, roasted to ash and applied externally is beneficial. Cold in nature; do not eat too much. Strictly contraindicated for pregnant women.
