黄酒煎服。治跌打损伤神效。得姜汁、牛乳治反胃噎膈。得桔梗治死血留胃中作痛。得五芩
散为丸。茴香汤下。治肾气上攻。致心腹作痛。多食昏目。忌蜜。百虫入耳。韭汁灌之即出
。耳出水。韭汁日滴三次效。漆疮作痒。韭叶杵敷之立愈。

白淫等症。下部有火。阴气不固者勿服。每日空心生吞廿粒。盐汤下。治梦遗溺白。烧熏虫

、猪胆汁治面赤格阳于上。热药不入。得香豉、阿胶治胎动。若患外痔。先用木鳖煎洗。以
葱涎对蜜调敷。其凉如冰。数次即愈。葱管吹盐入玉茎中。治小便不通及转脬危急者极效。
以葱白安脐上。熨阴毒腹痛。并烧灰涂折伤止痛无般。以茎叶煎汤频洗水病足肿奇效。能解
药毒鱼肉毒蚯蚓毒。涂 犬伤。同蜜食。毒如砒。同大枣犬雉食。令人病。
[Colocasia esculenta (Cigu)] Bitter, sweet, slightly cold. Enters the Foot-Taiyin Splein and Foot-Jueyin Liver meridians. Its function is specifically to resolve hundred toxins. Used for postpartum blood stagnation attacking the heart leading to near-death state, and difficult labor where the placenta fails to expel. Crush and take juice, one sheng. Also treats Stone Lin (urinary calculi). Excessive consumption causes disease.
[Scallion White] Pungent, warm, slightly sour. Enters the Foot-Jueyin Liver meridian. Its function is specifically to warm the Spleen and benefit the Stomach, stop diarrhea and dysentery, and disperse counterflow cold. Assists the Kidney to tonify Yang, secures essence and Qi, and warms the waist and knees. Disperses blood stasis, drives out retained phlegm. Enters the Blood level to move Qi. Treats all blood diseases such as hematemesis, epistaxis, and trauma-induced bleeding. Method: crush raw crab with Chinese chive, decoct with child's urine and yellow wine, and take. Extremely effective for traumatic injuries. With ginger juice and cow milk, treats retrograde vomiting and dysphagia. With Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng), treats dead blood retained in the Stomach causing pain. With Wuling San formulated into pills, taken with Fennel Decoction, treats Kidney Qi attacking upward causing heart and abdominal pain. Excessive consumption blurs vision. Avoid honey. If insects enter the ear, irrigate with Chinese chive juice to expel them. For otorrhea, drip Chinese chive juice three times daily for efficacy. For lacquer dermatitis with itching, apply crushed Chinese chive leaves for immediate healing.
[Chinese Chive] Pungent, sweet, warm. Enters the Foot-Shaoyin Kidney and Foot-Jueyin Liver meridians. Its function is specifically to tonify the Liver and Kidney. With Longgu (Fossilized Bones) and Sangpiaoxiao (Mantis Egg Case), treats enuresis, seminal emission, hematuria, leukorrhea, and white discharge. Do not use if there is fire in the lower jiao or insecure Yin Qi. Swallow twenty grains raw on an empty stomach daily, with salt water. Treats nocturnal emission and cloudy urine. Burning and fumigating for toothache is good. Eating chive flowers moves wind.
[Scallion Stem and Leaf] Pungent, dispersing, neutral. Enters the Hand-Taiyin Lung and Foot-Yangming Stomach meridians. Its function is specifically to induce sweating and release the muscle layer, unblock Yang Qi above and below. With Fuzi (Aconite), Shengjiang (Dried Ginger), human urine, and pig bile, treats facial redness due to Ge Yang (floating Yang) at the upper body, where hot medicines cannot be tolerated. With Xiangchi (Fermented Soybean) and Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin), treats fetal movement. If suffering from external hemorrhoids, first wash with boiled water of Momordica charantia seed (Mubiezi), then apply a mixture of scallion exudate and honey; it feels cool as ice, heals after several applications. Insert scallion tube into the urethra and blow salt in; extremely effective for urinary retention and acute bladder distension (Zhuan Pao). Place scallion white on the umbilicus and moxa/iron it; treats Yin toxicity abdominal pain. Burn scallion to ash and apply to fractures for pain relief; nothing is better. Decoct stem and leaf, frequently wash swollen feet caused by water disease; miraculous effect. Resolves drug toxicity, fish/meat toxicity, and earthworm toxicity. Apply to dog bites. Eaten with honey, [ineffective against] poison like arsenic. Eaten with large dates, dog meat, or pheasant, causes illness.
