Indications. Kills parasites in the skin. Treats tinea and scabies. Dispels wind-induced pain. Aids digestion. This is because its origin is related to Realgar (Huang Sheng). There are also those derived from calcined stone (Duan Shi). Bathing with it can damage the eyes.

Indications. Wind-cold syndrome. Wind-pain syndrome. Dry Huoluan (a type of acute gastrointestinal disorder characterized by sudden abdominal pain and vomiting/diarrhea without discharge, colloquially known as KT Luo Sha). Use Leigong Pili San (Thunderbolt Powder) mixed with a small amount of Moschus (She Xiang), inserted into the umbilicus. Cover with an extremely thin slice of Zingiberis Rhizoma (Sheng Jiang), and moxibustion with Ai Huo (Mugwort fire). Internally take Biwen Dan (Plague-Dispelling Pill) produced by Hu Qing Yu Tang in Hangzhou. For cold limbs, use Ulmus cortex (Yu Pi) or wheat bran stir-fried until very hot, wrapped in thin silk, and rubbed by four people separately. Stop when the pulse recovers. Nine out of ten cases can be saved.

Ingredients: Zi Shi Ying (Fluorite, ground fine and processed by water flotation), Chuan Wu Tou (Aconiti Radix, prepared), Chuan Du Zhong (Eucommiae Cortex, stir-fried to remove silk fibers), Yu Yu Liang (Haematitum), Yuan Zhi Rou (Polygalae Radix flesh), Ze Xie (Alismatis Rhizoma), Sang Ji Sheng (Taxilli Herba), Gui Xin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Long Gu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi et Scapulae, ground separately), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix), Rou Cong Rong (Cistanche Caulis, soaked in wine), Shi Hu (Dendrobii Caulis), Gan Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, prepared), Wu Wei Zi (Schisandrae Fructus), Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried), each 1 liang. Mu Li (Ostrea Concha), Chuan Jiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium, removing eyes and closed ones, stir-fried until sweat appears), each 5 qian. Grind into fine powder, make pills with honey, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 20 pills per dose. Treats women's menstrual irregularities, where flow is suddenly heavy or light, cycle sometimes early or late, or accompanied by abdominal pain.
