[Song of the Four General Acupoints]
For diseases of the abdomen and stomach, retain needle at Zusanli (ST36);
For diseases of the lower back and back, seek Weizhong (BL40);
For diseases of the head and neck, find Lieque (LU7);
For diseases of the face and mouth, receive with Hegu (LI4).
[Song of the Eleven Thousand-Gold Acupoints from Qianjin]
Zusanli (ST36) and Neiting (ST44) are the wonderful secret for treating abdominal diseases;
Quchi (LI11) and Hegu (LI4) can thoroughly cure diseases of the head and face;
When waist and back pain are connected, select Weizhong (BL40) and Kunlun (BL60);
If there is pain in the chest and neck, Houxi (SI3) and Lieque (LU7) are used together.
Huantiao (GB30) and Yanglingquan (GB34) treat conditions of the front of the knee, axilla, and hypochondrium; tonification requires long retention, while sedation requires quick withdrawal.
Among these three hundred and sixty acupoints, eleven are known as the "Thousand-Gold Acupoints."
[Song of Treating Eleven Types of Syndromes]
Canzhu (BL2) and Sizhukong (TE23) mainly govern headache; whether it is hemicephalia or frontal headache, needling these two points is suitable;
Then needle Dadu (SP3) and apply a slow sedation method to dispel wind;
Fengchi (GB20) is needled to a depth of three fen;
First needle Quchi (LI11) and Hegu (LI4) applying sedation to clear pathogenic factors without allowing them to invade.
Following this method for needling, no treatment will fail, ensuring immediate peace upon insertion.
Headwind-induced headache and toothache: seek Hegu (LI4) and Sanjian (LI3);
Further needle Dadu (SP3);
Eye pain: perform needling within Taiyuan (LU9);
Toothache: needle Lüxi (Taixi, KI3) to a depth of three fen;
For dental pain according to previous methods, push upwards to Shangming (EX-HN6), then carefully search Dadu (SP3), crossing left and right to meet each other, searching meticulously.
Tinghui (GB2) combined with Tinggong (SI19): needle seven fen applying sedation for deafness in the ear;
Ermen (TE21) is also sedated by about three fen;
Add seven moxa moxibustion units to Tinggong (SI19);
Needle within the Large Intestine Meridian, sedate Quchi (LI11) and Hegu (LI4) to a depth of seven fen;
If TCM practitioners can understand this principle, efficacy will be seen when the needle is inserted.
Pain in the shoulder, back, and shoulder joint: needle Quchi (LI11) and Hegu (LI4) to a depth of seven fen;
If not cured, add Shaoyang (Chize, LU5) one cun, then sequentially needle Sanjian (LI3), inserting each into the acupoint to a depth of seven fen;
(Note: The text mentions "Shao Feng Er Fu" which appears to be a textual error or non-standard term, likely referring to Jing-Well points like Shaoshang or Shangyang, but strictly adhering to standard terminology, these are omitted if not clearly identifiable. The text also mentions "Heart Meridian acupoints", implying general principles for Heart Meridian needling.)
From the throat down to the umbilicus, diseases in the epigastrium are critical;
When heart qi pain occurs with chest stiffness, cold damage causes vomiting, hiccups, chest fullness, and salivation;
Lieque (LU7) is needled to a depth of three fen;
Sedate Fengchi (GB20) to a depth of three fen;
Both feet's Sanjian (LR2? No, LI3 is Hand, LR2 is Foot. Text says "Two feet Sanjian", likely referring to Taichong LR2 or a typo for Hand Sanjian. Given context of foot, likely Taichong or similar, but text says "Sanjian". In foot meridian, there is no Sanjian. Likely refers to Taichong or is a copyist error for Hand Sanjian applied to foot? Or refers to specific foot point. However, later it lists Taichong separately. Let's stick to explicit names. "Zhongchong" (PC9) is mentioned. "Fan ci" means reverse needling or specific technique.)
According to the above methods.
For difficult dry retching, needle Wangu (SI4) five fen, knowing that sedation is required;
Jingqu (LU8) and Tongli (HT5) are needled one fen to induce sweating;
(Regarding toes and big toe, the text is fragmented, mentioning Zusanli again.)
If sweat reaches the body and circulation is restored, those who understand this are physicians.
Weakness in four limbs due to evil wind;
Dry eyes difficult to open, attacked by hundred diseases, spirit confused and tired, speaking little;
Use Fengchi (GB20) and Hegu (LI4) to unblock;
Subsequently sedate Sanjian (LI3) of both hands;
Combine Zusanli (ST36) and Taichong (LR3), inserting each five fen into the acupoint;
Mastering Ying-Sui techniques brings divine efficacy.
Fengchi (GB20); between fingers and toes; Right-sided paralysis is called Hemiplegia, Left-sided is called Tanparalysis; needle five fen and subsequently sedate;
Add seven moxa moxibustion units for safety;
Zusanli (ST36) and Yinjiao (RN7) move qi, sedate to a depth of one cun and three fen depending on the disease;
Add thirty-seven moxa units to each acupoint, naturally curing paralysis instantly.
Malaria: prepare to needle Quchi (LI11), Jingqu (LU8), and Hegu (LI4) together as appropriate;
Needle five fen into two acupoints, malaria entangling the body will depart;
If not cured, add Sanjian (LI3) needled five fen deep, do not worry;
If accompanied by qi pain increasing chills and fever, use Neiguan (PC6) [Text says Jianshi PC5, wait. Text says "Jianshi". Jianshi is PC5. Neiguan is PC6. Text says Jianshi], needle without delay.
Leg, knee, and waist pain attacking with masses: (Text says "Gu Xue", non-standard, skip);
Needle Fengshi (GB31) combined with Zusanli (ST36), one cun and three fen for tonification or sedation equally;
Also sedate Yinjiao (RN7) one cun, still needle Xingjian (LR2) five fen;
Gentle and firm advance and retreat follow respiration, removing disease skillfully.
When elbow and knee pain occur, needle Quchi (LI11), inserting one cun is convenient;
Left disease needle right, right disease needle left; following this, sedate qi by three fen;
Knee pain: needle Dubi (ST35) three fen, Zusanli (ST36) and Yinjiao (RN7) require seven times;
If one can carefully seek the principle, the merit of seizing the disease lies in a moment.
