Treats malaria resulting from spleen and stomach deficiency, characterized by more chills than fever. Generally, cold originates from the Gallbladder channel; pig bile guides Gaoliangjiang (Galangal Rhizome) and Jiangjiang (Dried Ginger) into the Gallbladder to dry dampness and strengthen the spleen. The two gingers are hot, while pig bile is cold; their mutual constraint produces efficacy. It also treats cold malaria in late autumn.
