[She Xiang San (Musk Powder)] Treats sudden wind-stroke with aphasia, sudden collapse, loss of consciousness, left hemiplegia and right-sided paralysis, deviation of the mouth and eyes, in patients who have not yet taken other medicines. Take this medicine.
Zhen Muxiang (Real Musk) (2 qian or 3 qian, ground into fine powder) Zhen Xiangyou (Real Sesame Oil) (2 liang to 3 liang).
For the above ingredients, if encountering such a condition, urgently grind the musk into fine powder, mix it evenly into the clear oil, pry open the patient's mouth, and administer the mixture. The patient will naturally regain consciousness. This not only treats stroke.

Treated left hemiplegia and right-sided paralysis; You Pingzhang took this medicine and recovered. It is extremely effective and verified.

[Baihua She Tou (White Flower Snake Head)] (One head with a two-cun neck, soaked in wine and roasted) Wushao She Wei (Black-striped Snake Tail) (Two tails, seven cun long, soaked in wine and roasted) Chuan Wutou (Sichuan Aconite Root) (Three pieces, remove skin and umbilicus...) Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root) (remove...) Muxiang (Costus Root) (each...).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use ginger juice to make a paste and form pills as large as paulownia seeds. Coat with Zhusha (Cinnabar). Take 50 pills per dose, delivered with Xiao Xuming Tang (Minor Continuation Life Decoction), taken at any time.

Treats men and women suffering from wind-dampness intermingling, qi obstruction, transmitting to the hands and feet, causing numbness, swelling, and pain. Over time, this leads to hemiplegia, and also podagra (gouty arthritis) preventing walking and standing, severely treating paralysis.
Liang Chuan Wutou (Raw Sichuan Aconite Root, remove skin and umbilicus, slice) Caowu (Aconitum Kusnezoffii Root) (remove skin and tip, slice, stir-fry with salt until fragrant, then remove salt. Each half liang above) Mahuang (Ephedra Herba) (lightly stir-fried) Muxiang (Costus Root) (2 qian) Gua Zi (Melon Seeds) (stir-fried yellow).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use refined white rock sugar honey, cool down, and knead into a mass. Divide each liang of powder into twelve pills. Take two pills per dose, delivered with natural juice of fresh ginger prepared overnight.

Caowu (Aconitum Kusnezoffii Root) (remove skin and umbilicus, use raw, cut into large chunks) Heshouwu (Polygoni Multiflori Radix) (cut into large slices, avoid ironware) Wuyao (Litsea Cubeba Fruit) (finely cut) Chuan Wutou (Sichuan Aconite Root) (each two [qian/cun implied]) cut into half-inch pieces.
Use two sheng of non-ash wine and two sheng of rice vinegar. Place the above ingredients together in a porcelain bottle. Soak for two nights. Boil using mild and strong fire until approximately one sheng of liquid remains. Extract the medicinal liquid, dry it by baking, and grind into fine powder. Still use the medicinal liquid to make a paste and form pills as large as paulownia seeds. If there is insufficient liquid, add more wine and vinegar. Take 50-70 pills on an empty stomach with salt water. For podagra, deliver with Mugua Tang (Papaya Decoction). Press with dry matter. Take alternately with Huoluo Dan (Meridian-Unblocking Pill).
