张仲景曰∶汗斑乃暑热之时，人不知而用日晒之手巾，揩其身上之汗，便成此
病。最无害而难愈，宜内服苍耳丸主之。
验方
硫黄 铅粉（各等分）
共研细，用生姜切片蘸擦。初则变黑，次则转红，红退则愈。
又方
密陀僧 铅粉（各等分）
研匀，生姜蘸擦。
又方 用浓布一尺，以白砒研极细末，鸡蛋清和匀，浆于布上，拍匀晒干，不
时擦之，数日即愈。兼治一切顽癣如神。
汗斑肥皂。
硫黄 雄黄 白砒 明矾 密陀僧（各一两） 肥皂（去筋弦膜，净六两）
共捣为大圆，擦汗斑上，停一顿饭时，洗去。将手巾另用清水搓过。切不可擦脸，恐有气息攻目。
汗斑（钱怀谷）。先将生姜切片擦汗斑上，再以姜汁调川贝母细末搓上，过宿洗去。
汗斑 粗夏布一块，用瓦上青苔（不是瓦上长瓦松）。将井水洗净捣汁，浸布晒干，用
白芷一两，硫黄五钱同炒研细，以鸡蛋清调匀，浆在布上晒干，以布擦斑上，自愈。
又方
密陀僧 硫黄（各一钱） 冰片（一分）
研细，烧酒调搓。
又方 白硼砂研细擦之，即愈。
汗斑。（杨惊愚。）
北细辛 白芷（各二钱） 硫黄（一钱）
共研极细末，用花红莲蒂切一片，蘸擦除根。
赤白汗斑。（刘进士。）
雄黄 硫黄 全蝎 白僵蚕 白附子 密陀僧（各五分） 麝香
共为末。蘸生姜于患处擦之。五日除根。
Zhang Zhongjing stated: "Hanban" (sweat spots) occurs during the hot and humid summer season when individuals unknowingly use a hand towel exposed to sunlight to wipe sweat from their bodies, thereby causing this condition. It is generally harmless but difficult to cure; it is appropriate to internally administer Cang'er Wan (Xanthium Pill) as the primary treatment.

Sulfur (Liu Huang), Lead Powder (Qian Fen) in equal parts.
Grind together into a fine powder. Dip slices of fresh ginger (Sheng Jiang) into the powder and rub onto the affected area. Initially, the skin will turn black, then red; once the redness fades, the condition is cured.

Lead Monoxide (Mi Tuo Seng), Lead Powder (Qian Fen) in equal parts.
Grind uniformly and rub onto the affected area using fresh ginger (Sheng Jiang).

Take one chi of coarse cloth. Grind White Arsenic (Bai Pi) into an extremely fine powder. Mix thoroughly with egg white (Jidan Qing), apply evenly onto the cloth, pat smooth, and dry in the sun. Rub the treated cloth onto the affected area from time to time; it will heal within a few days. This also treats all kinds of stubborn tinea corporis with miraculous effect.
Hanban Soap
Sulfur (Liu Huang), Realgar (Xiong Huang), White Arsenic (Bai Pi), Alum (Ming Fan), Lead Monoxide (Mi Tuo Seng) (each 1 liang); Soap (Fang Zi) (free of tendons, strings, and membranes, net weight 6 liang).
Pound and mix into large round cakes. Rub onto the Hanban spots, leave for the duration of one meal, then wash off. Subsequently, wash the hand towel thoroughly with clean water. Do not apply to the face, as the fumes may damage the eyes.
Hanban (Provided by Qian Huaigu)
First, rub the affected area with sliced fresh ginger (Sheng Jiang). Then, mix fine powder of Chuan Bei Mu (Fritillariae Bulbus) with ginger juice and rub onto the area. Wash off after overnight.

Take one piece of coarse summer linen. Use moss growing on roof tiles (specifically not Sedum sarmentosum/Wa Song). Clean with well water, pound to extract juice, soak the cloth, and dry in the sun. Take Bai Zhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) 1 liang and Liu Huang (Sulfur) 5 qian, stir-fry together, and grind into a fine powder. Mix with egg white (Jidan Qing), apply to the cloth, and dry. Rub the treated cloth onto the spots until naturally healed.
Another Prescription
Lead Monoxide (Mi Tuo Seng), Sulfur (Liu Huang) (each 1 qian), Borneol (Bing Pian) (1 fen).
Grind into a fine powder, mix with distilled liquor (Shao Jiu), and rub onto the affected area.
Another Prescription
Grind Borax (Bai Peng Sha) into a fine powder and rub directly onto the affected area; it will heal immediately.
Hanban (Provided by Yang Jingyu)
Bei Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Bai Zhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) (each 2 qian), Sulfur (Liu Huang) (1 qian).
Grind into an extremely fine powder. Cut a slice of Huahong Lian Di (Lotus Seed Pod base of Punica granatum var. nuda), dip into the powder, and rub onto the affected area to eradicate the root cause.
Red and White Hanban (Provided by Liu Jinshi)
Realgar (Xiong Huang), Sulfur (Liu Huang), Scorpio (Quan Xie), Bombyx Batryticatus (Bai Jiang Can), Typhonii Rhizoma Praeparatum (Bai Fu Zi), Lead Monoxide (Mi Tuo Seng) (each 5 fen), Musk (She Xiang).
Grind into powder. Dip fresh ginger (Sheng Jiang) into the powder and rub onto the affected area. The root cause will be eradicated in five days.
