Shen Douyuan stated: Huangshui Chuang (Yellow Water Sore), also known as Dinong Chuang (Dripping Pus Sore). (From *Qixuan*)
Chen Shigong stated: Yellow blisters suddenly appear on the head, face, ears, and neck. Upon rupture, they exude a lipid-like fluid and spread rapidly within moments, often accompanied by pain and itching. This is caused by exposure to sun and wind, sudden contraction of damp-heat pathogens, or ingestion of food containing damp-heat, leading to the stirring of wind and generation of fire. Treatment involves applying Gefen San (Clam Powder Powder) or Siwei Yigong San (Four-Ingredient Extraordinary Efficacy Powder). (From *Zhengzong*)
Feng Luzhan stated: Sores appearing on the face and around the ears that frequently exude yellow fluid and spread without healing are named Xiangban Chuang (Fragrant Petal Sore). (From *Jinnang*)
When small sores first appear, they rupture upon slight touch. Wherever the toxic fluid flows, large blistering sores emerge; this is Huangshui Chuang (Yellow Water Sore), resulting from heat-toxin stagnating in the skin and hair follicles. It should be washed with decoctions. (From *Milu*)
**Siwei Yigong San (Four-Ingredient Extraordinary Efficacy Powder):** Songxiang (Refined Old *Pini Massarum*, Pine Resin), Shengfan (Raw Alum), Kufan (Calcined Alum), Yinfen (Silver Powder). Grind equal parts into fine powder. First, wash the area with pork fat broth or rice washing water to remove crusts cleanly, then dry off the turbid fluid. If dry, mix with sesame oil (*Sesami Oleum*, Zhima You) for rubbing; if wet, apply the dry powder directly. For facial Huangshui Chuang (Yellow Water Sore).
Suanzao (Fried *Ziziphi Spinosae Semen*, Sour Jujube Seed), Jingjie (Perilla Leaf), Yanghu (Sheep Beard, burned to ash and preserved for efficacy, 1 qian), Qianfen (Lead Powder, 5 qian). Grind into fine powder. First, wash with decoction made from locust tree branches (*Styphnolobii Japonici Ramulus et Folium*), then apply the medicine. The sore will heal naturally.
**Washing Method (by Master Qi):** Xionghuang (Realgar), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root). Each 5 qian. Use ten bowls of water, boil several times, strain, and use the juice to wash the sore until healed.
**Another Prescription:** Mix Qianfen (Lead Powder) with Caiyou (Rapeseed Oil) and coat inside a porcelain plate. Roll paper tightly, ignite it under the plate to fumigate, stirring occasionally until it turns uniformly yellow for use. Remove crusts and rub the preparation on; it heals immediately.
**Another Prescription (from *Zhou Shi Chao Fang*):** One male pig gallbladder, 1 liang of Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark). Soak, dry by baking, grind into powder, and sprinkle on the lesion.
Shen Douyuan stated: Baishechuan (White Snake String), also called Baishechan (White Snake Entanglement), occurs on the waist. Both ends resemble snake shapes; if the two ends meet, it is incurable.
According to the entry for Jianchunluo (*Primulae Pubescentis Flos*) in *Bencao Gangmu* (Compendium of Materia Medica), for Huodai Chuang (Fire Belt Sore) encircling the navel, waist, and abdomen, harvest flowers and leaves, mash them, mix with honey, and apply. It heals immediately. The general principle suggests using Gezhi Gao (Paste隔着 Paper). (From *Qixuan*)
Baishechan Yao (White Snake Entangling Waist) begins as a ring of red blisters on the waist. If not treated early, entanglement over the whole body leads to death. The entanglement resembles a belt. (Qian Qinglun)
Dou Hanqing stated: Baishechuan (White Snake String) is Baishechan (White Snake Entanglement), also known as Sheke Chuang (Snake Nest Sore). (From *Quan Shu*)
Zhu Danxi stated: This sore arises because clothing has been crawled over by snakes, or dietary intake has been contaminated by snake venom entering the skin and hair follicles, causing sores and pain. Moxibustion can be used. Puncture the sore head with a pine needle to draw blood, then rub with oil infused with Wugong (Centipede), or rub with Xionghuang (Realgar) and Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica) mixed with wine.
Gu Shicheng stated: This condition mostly originates on the waist. If not treated urgently, the sore becomes gray and putrid. If the head and tail connect to form a complete circle, it is incurable.
