Use Cangzhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), scrape clean and grind into powder, divided into four parts: one part soaked in wine until soft then sliced; one part soaked in wine then baked dry; one part soaked in vinegar then baked dry; one part stir-fried with salt (4 liang). Additionally, use Huajiao (Fructus Zanthoxyli, 4 liang, stir-fried) and He Shou Wu (Radix Polygoni Multiflori Preparata, 2 jin each), soak in rice washing water, scrape and cut with a bamboo knife, then steam together with Hei Dou (Faba Bean, 5 jin each) and Hong Zao (Chinese Jujube, 5 jin each) until the beans are rotten, take out and sun-dry. Then take Digupi (Cortex Lycii, remove heart, 1 jin). Grind each of the above herbs into fine powder separately. Mix with Sangshen juice (Mulberry Fruit Juice) to form a paste, spread in a basin to a thickness of three fingers, expose to sunlight during the day and dew at night to absorb the essence of sun and moon. When dry, pound into powder using a stone mortar. Blend with refined honey to make pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 100 pills per dose with wine on an empty stomach. This formula tonifies the Spleen and Kidney; after taking it for seventy days, white hair will not appear.
Use Shenqu (Massa Medicata Fermentata) stir-fried with Cangzhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae). Soak Cangzhu in rice washing water overnight, then bake dry.
