凡痧胀，夏日多患此症，面色紫赤，腹痛难忍，使饮热汤便不可救，即温汤亦忌。如遇

食之
沉香郁金散∶治痧气寒凝，以及腹痛。
沉香 木香 郁金（各一钱） 乌药（三钱） 降香（二钱） 细辛（五钱）上忌见火，
生研为细末
痧药方∶名火龙丹。
牛黄（一钱） 麝香（二钱） 冰片（二钱） 朱砂（二两研飞） 荜茇（一钱） 真
金箔（一百张）
各研极细，端午午时合。如痧胀腹痛，将此药嗅鼻中，并放舌尖上，吃下亦可。
又∶名蟾酥丸。

Formula for Treating Sha Distension and Abdominal Pain:
Sha distension is commonly seen in summer. Patients present with a purplish-red complexion and unbearable abdominal pain. Drinking hot water at this stage is fatal, and even warm water should be avoided. In such cases, the following formulas may be used:
Chenxiang Yujin San (Agarwood and Turmeric Powder): Treats Sha Qi cold coagulation and abdominal pain.
Ingredients: Chen Xiang (Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum), Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Yu Jin (Curcumae Radix) (each 1 qian), Wu Yao (Linderae Radix) (3 qian), Jiang Xiang (Daemonorops Draco Resina), Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) (5 qian). Avoid heat processing; grind raw materials into fine powder.
Sha Medicine Formula: Named Huolong Dan (Fire Dragon Pill).
Ingredients: Niu Huang (Bovis Calculus) (1 qian), She Xiang (Moschi Fermentum) (2 qian), Bing Pian (Borneolum Syntheticum) (2 qian), Zhu Sha (Cinnabaris) (2 liang, processed by levigation), Bi Bo (Piperis Longi Fructus) (1 qian), Zhen Jin Bo (Folium Auricum) (100 sheets).
Grind all ingredients to an extremely fine powder and compound them at noon on the Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu Festival). For sha distension and abdominal pain, inhale the powder through the nose or place it on the tip of the tongue; swallowing is also acceptable.
Another formula: Named Chansu Wan (Toad Venom Pill).
Ingredients: Xiong Huang (Realgar) (3 qian), She Xiang (Moschi Fermentum) (3 fen), Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix) (1 qian), Ding Xiang (Caryophylli Flos) (1 qian; avoid heat processing), Cang Zhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma) (3 qian), Chansu (Bufonis Venenum) (1 qian).
Grind together into powder. Dissolve Chansu in Hu Jiu (fire wine/liquor) to form pills the size of millet seeds, coated with Zhu Sha (Cinnabaris). If difficult to pill, add a small amount of rice decoction. Take 2-3 pills per dose, placing them on the tip of the tongue.

Shenmiao Sha Yao Fang (Miraculous Sha Medicine Formula):
Bei Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) (3 liang), Jing Jie (Schizonepetae Spica) (6 qian), Jiang Xiang Mo (Dracaenae Resina Rubra powder) (2 qian), Yu Jin (Curcumae Radix) (1 qian). Grind together into powder. Use one tea spoon per dose, place on the tongue.
