Effective Prescription for Treating Ge-Shi (Dysphagia with Food Impaction) and Gu-Zhang (Abdominal Distension):
In the fifth and sixth lunar months, take two to three *jin* (approx. 1-1.5 kg) or four to five *jin* of old ginger, place it in a bamboo basket or hemp cloth bag, soak it in a manure pit for seven days, then take it out and wash it clean.

Effective Prescription for Treating Various Tan-Ge (Phlegm Dysphagia) and Shi-Ge (Food Dysphagia):
Black brown sugar (one *jin*), old ginger with skin (one *jin*).
Mash these two ingredients together into a paste, form into a ointment, seal tightly in a porcelain jar, bury it in dry, clean yellow soil for seven days, then retrieve it. Take daily mixed with boiling water.

Secretly Transmitted Ge-Ye Ointment by Miao Zhongchun:
Human milk, cow milk, sugarcane juice, pear juice, reed rhizome juice, longan flesh concentrated juice, ginger juice, ginseng concentrated juice.
Take equal parts of the above seven ingredients, except for the ginger juice which should be slightly less. Simmer over a double boiler until it forms an ointment, add refined honey, and take slowly and frequently. Its efficacy is like that of an immortal pill; furthermore, one must maintain a calm mind.

Another Prescription:
Good aged wine (one *jin*), rice candy (ten *liang*), Fritillaria bulb (Beimu, 贝母) (two *qian*), Amomum fruit (Sharen, 砂仁) (two *qian*), Aucklandia root (Guangmuxiang, 广木香) (two *qian*), Tangerine peel (Guangchenpi, 广陈皮) (two *qian*).
Cut the above herbs into slices, place them in a porcelain bottle, tie the mouth tightly with bamboo leaf sheaths, place a pinch of rice on top, and boil in a double boiler until the rice is cooked. Take one large cup every early morning. Stop when the medicine is finished.

Another Prescription:
One *jin* of high-quality sugar dregs from a sugar workshop, plus four *liang* of fresh ginger. First crush the dregs thoroughly, mash again with the ginger, shape into small cakes, and sun-dry them. Store in a porcelain bottle and place near the stove [to keep warm/dry].

Treating Ye-Shi (Choking and Food Impaction):
Raw lotus root juice, ginger juice, Xiebai (Allium macrostemon, referred to as "Xini" in original text), radish juice, sugarcane juice, honey, white jujube juice, bamboo sap (Zhuli, 竹沥).
Mix one bowl of each evenly, steam over rice until cooked, and eat at will.

Treating Fan-Wei (Regurgitation) and Ge-Qi (Chest Qi Stagnation):
This condition definitely originates from intestinal dryness and blood heat. Bowel movements occur once every three to four days, and feces resemble horse chestnuts. If they are hard like sheep droppings, it is untreatable. If the mouth constantly foams white, it is also untreatable.
Cow milk, goat milk, human milk, in any quantity, should be taken regularly. This is a miraculous medicine for generating blood and moistening the intestines.

Another Prescription:
Five or six Qingzhou persimmon cakes, steam them over rice until cooked and eat them without soup or water. Regular consumption will lead to recovery.

Prescription for Treating Ye-Ge Qi Blockage:
Roast the chicken crop until charred, grind into powder, add Aucklandia root (Muxiang, 木香), Clove (Dingxiang, 丁香), and Agarwood (Chenxiang, 沉香), and combine with red dates to make pills for administration.

Prescription for Temporarily Opening Ge-Qi Obstruction:
