不调;三以少阴而遇老阳,玉茎不坚举而易软,女情不畅则伤肝,必至盲目;四经水未尽,男强逼合则伤肾;
Before sexual intercourse, a woman exhibits five signs of arousal:
Redness on the face and sudden appearance of freckles-like spots on the eyebrows indicate the arrival of Heart Qi (心气);
Glistening eyes with saliva at the corners, looking askance to convey affection, indicate the arrival of Liver Qi (肝气);
Lowering the head without speaking and nasal discharge, indicate the arrival of Lung Qi (肺气);
Necks intertwined, leaning against each other, with the body moving automatically, indicate the arrival of Spleen Qi (脾气);
The vulva opens and jade-like fluid moistens, indicate the arrival of Kidney Qi (肾气).
When all five Qi arrive, only then should the man engage in intercourse with her, employing the technique of "nine shallow and one deep thrusts." In this manner, emotions will harmonize, beauty will be achieved, and conception will surely occur.
During intercourse, a woman may suffer five types of injury:
First, if the vaginal orifice is still closed and not open, do not force penetration; forcing it injures the Lungs.
Second, if the woman's arousal has already risen but the man does not comply, and intercourse begins only after the excitement has passed, this injures the Heart, leading to irregular menstruation.
Third, if a young woman (Shao Yin) encounters an old man (Lao Yang), and the penis is not firm and becomes soft easily, the woman's unfulfilled desire injures the Liver, inevitably leading to blindness.
Fourth, if menstrual blood has not yet ceased and the man forces intercourse, this injures the Kidneys.
Fifth, if the man engages in intercourse while drunk, with a hard penis penetrating for a long time without stopping, while the woman's desire has passed but the male yang excitement continues unabated, this injures the Abdomen. How can there be children under these five injuries?
Moaning softly and speaking lowly are manifestations of the Heart; closing the eyes and not opening them are manifestations of the Liver; dry throat and panting are manifestations of the Lungs; legs bending or extending, lying supine as if dead, are manifestations of the Spleen; cold breath from mouth and nose, and sticky discharge from the vagina, are manifestations of the Kidneys. These five states represent extreme pleasure. If the man recognizes these conditions and utilizes them appropriately, he will not only have children but also gain health benefits.
Yin and Yang temperaments and constitutions vary in endowment. Those with solid essence often respond slowly; those with unstable essence often respond quickly. The slow responder dislikes speed, akin to hunger waiting for food but unable to swallow; the quick responder fears slowness, akin to being drunk wanting to add another cup but unable to vomit. When speed and slowness are unequal, how can conception occur? Therefore, when slow meets fast, one should employ unexpected strategies, avoid conventional paths, and not boast beforehand. When fast meets slow, one should remain calm and self-possessed, teasing before engaging in battle, so that timing coincides perfectly.
If Yang is strong and Yin is weak, fear is like facing hornets and scorpions, avoidance is like dodging spears and halberds; if Yang is weak and Yin is strong, submission is like wind blowing through grass, retreat is like fleeing from dust clouds. When strength and weakness clash and neither can overpower the other, how can pregnancy occur? However, soothing the weak requires a method: one must dwell in benevolence and follow righteousness, striving to win the heart. Overcoming the strong is difficult; unless one gathers spirit and focuses the mind, how can one seize their soul? If this method is truly mastered for treatment, then strength need not be feared, and weakness need not be worried about.
