妊娠三月之后，两足浮肿，甚者自脚面肿至腿膝，饮食不甘。小水流利者属湿气为病，名曰子气，宜赤
苓汤。若两足发肿，渐至腿膝，或足指缝间出水，乃水气肿满之故，宜
天仙藤散。若脾胃虚弱，佐以四君子汤，未应，宜用补中益气汤兼用逍遥散。
赤苓汤
浓朴（姜制） 陈皮（去白，各八分） 苍术（米泔浸、炒，一钱） 炙甘草（五分） 赤茯苓 桑白皮
（各一钱） 姜（三片） 水煎服。
天仙藤散
天仙藤（即青木香藤、洗、略炒） 香附（制） 陈皮 乌药 甘草（各一钱） 木瓜（三片） 苏叶（四分）
姜（三片）
水煎，食前服。日服二次，以水尽，肿消为度。
若脾胃虚弱，佐以四君子汤（人参、白术、茯苓、炙草）各八分。
补中益气汤
人参 黄 （蜜炙） 白术（蜜炙） 甘草（炙，各一钱五分） 当归（一钱） 陈皮（五分） 升麻
柴胡（各三分） 姜（三片） 枣（二枚）
煎水服。
逍遥散
当归 白术（蜜炙） 白芍 茯神 甘草 柴胡（各一钱） 姜（三片）
水煎服。
妊娠五六月间，腹大异常，胸膈胀满，小水不通，遍身浮肿，名曰子满。此胞中蓄水也。若不早治，生子
足手必然软短，形体生理残障或水下即死，宜鲤鱼汤。
鲤鱼汤
白术（蜜炙，二钱） 茯苓（一钱五分） 当归 赤芍（各一钱） 橘红（五分） 鲤鱼（一尾，不拘大小，
去鳞脏，白水煮熟，取汁） 生姜（五片）
上将鱼汁一钟半入药，煎至一钟，空心服。以水尽，肿消为度。
如胎死腹中，胀满未除，须再服一剂。
After the third month of pregnancy, edema occurs in both feet. In severe cases, swelling extends from the dorsum of the foot to the knees and thighs, accompanied by a lack of appetite. If urination is smooth and profuse, it is caused by dampness and is termed *Ziqi* (Edema during Pregnancy), for which *Chiling Tang* (Red Poria Decoction) is indicated. If both feet swell and gradually extend to the legs and knees, or if fluid oozes from between the toes, it is due to water qi causing edema and distension, for which *Tianxianteng San* (Aristolochia Vine Powder) is indicated. In cases of Spleen and Stomach deficiency, *Sijunzi Tang* (Four Gentlemen Decoction) should be used as an adjunct; if there is no improvement, *Buzhong Yiqi Tang* (Decoction for Supplementing the Middle and Augmenting Qi) combined with *Xiaoyao San* (Free and Easy Wanderer Powder) is appropriate.
**Chiling Tang (Red Poria Decoction)**
*Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex* (processed with ginger juice), *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium* (white pith removed, each 8 fen), *Atractylodis Rhizoma* (soaked in rice wash water, stir-fried, 1 qian), *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Preparatum* (5 fen), *Poria Cocos* (with red center), *Morus Albae Cortex Radicis* (each 1 qian), *Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens* (3 slices). Decoct in water and take orally.
**Tianxianteng San (Aristolochia Vine Powder)**
*Aristolochiae Manshuriensis Caulis* (also known as *Aristolochiae Schimperi Caulis*, washed, slightly stir-fried), *Cyperi Rhizoma* (processed), *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium*, *Linderae Radix*, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma* (each 1 qian), *Chaenomelis Fructus* (3 slices), *Perillae Folium* (4 fen), *Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens* (3 slices). Decoct in water and take before meals. Take twice daily until urination ceases and swelling subsides.
For Spleen and Stomach deficiency, use *Sijunzi Tang* (*Panax Ginseng Radix*, *Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma*, *Poria Cocos*, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Preparatum*, each 8 fen) as an adjunct.
**Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Decoction for Supplementing the Middle and Augmenting Qi)**
*Panax Ginseng Radix*, *Astragali Membranacei Radix* (honey-fried), *Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma* (honey-fried), *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Preparatum* (each 1 qian 5 fen), *Angelicae Sinensis Radix* (1 qian), *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium* (5 fen), *Cimicifugae Rhizoma*, *Bupleuri Radix* (each 3 fen), *Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens* (3 slices), *Jujubae Fructus* (2 pieces). Decoct in water and take orally.
**Xiaoyao San (Free and Easy Wanderer Powder)**
*Angelicae Sinensis Radix*, *Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma* (honey-fried), *Paeoniae Radix Alba*, *Poria Cocos* (with wood), *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*, *Bupleuri Radix* (each 1 qian), *Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens* (3 slices). Decoct in water and take orally.
Between the fifth and sixth months of pregnancy, the abdomen becomes abnormally large, the chest and diaphragm feel full and distended, urination is obstructed, and the whole body swells. This is termed *Ziman* (Hydrops during Pregnancy). It is caused by water accumulation in the uterus. If not treated early, the newborn will inevitably have weak and short limbs, physical disabilities, or may die immediately after the waters break. *Li Yu Tang* (Carp Decoction) is indicated.
**Li Yu Tang (Carp Decoction)**
*Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma* (honey-fried, 2 qian), *Poria Cocos* (1 qian 5 fen), *Angelicae Sinensis Radix*, *Paeoniae Radix Rubra* (each 1 qian), *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium* (5 fen), *Cyprini Carpio* (one fish, size unrestricted, scales and viscera removed, boiled in plain water, extract the broth), *Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens* (5 slices). Mix one and a half cups of the fish broth with the herbs, decoct until one cup remains, and take on an empty stomach. Continue until urination ceases and swelling subsides. If the fetus has died in utero and distension persists, administer another dose.
