During menstruation, anger causes Qi stagnation and obstruction, leading to rebellious blood attacking the Heart, resulting in loss of consciousness, delirious speech, and hallucinations of seeing ghosts or deities. First, administer Shexiang San (Musk Powder) to stabilize the mind; subsequently, administer Fushen Wan (Poria Pill) to eliminate the root cause.
Shexiang San (Musk Powder)

When menstruation is about to commence, if one consumes pungent, hot, and toxic foods such as Sichuan pepper and ginger, heat attacks the Five Zang Organs, transforming into dysentery. If other medicines are ineffective, Gan Lian Tang (Licorice and Coptis Decoction) should be administered for two to three doses.
Gan Lian Tang (Licorice and Coptis Decoction)
Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) [5 fen]; Huang Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma) [2 qian, prepared with ginger juice].

In women suffering from Taiyang disease (Cold Damage), due to overwork or anger, with body fever occurring simultaneously with menstruation, heat enters the Blood Chamber (Xue Shi). This may result in continuous bleeding or cessation of flow. The patient remains calm during the day but becomes delirious at night, hallucinating ghosts or deities. If the heat enters via external pathogens from the exterior, Yi Chai Hu Yin (Single Bupleurum Decoction) is indicated. If the fire arises internally due to anger or fatigue, accompanied by sweating and absence of exterior syndrome, Qing Hua Yin (Clearing and Transforming Decoction) is indicated. If the condition is gradually improving but the original Qi is weak, with heat not subsided and bleeding not stopped, Bu Yin Yi Qi Jian (Nourishing Yin and Augmenting Qi Decoction) is indicated. If the Spleen Qi is inherently deficient, Gui Pi Tang (Restore the Spleen Decoction) is indicated. If there is excessive blood heat with stasis, Jia Wei Chai Hu Tang (Modified Bupleurum Decoction) is indicated.
