(There are forty-four acupoints on both sides combined.)
The *Jingmai Chapter* states: The Sanjiao (Triple Burner) is the meridian of Hand-Shaoyang. It originates at the tip between the little finger and the ring finger. (Guanchong, LI1) It ascends out between the two fingers. (Yemen, TE2; Zhongzhu, TE3) It follows the back of the hand and surrounds the wrist. (Yangchi, TE4) It emerges between the two bones of the forearm. (Waiguan, TE5; Zhigou, TE6; Huizong, TE7; Sanyangluo, TE8; Sidu, TE9) It passes upward through the elbow. (Tianjing, TE10) It follows the lateral aspect of the upper arm. (Qinglengyuan, TE11; Xiaoluo, TE12; Hui, TE13) It ascends to the shoulder (Jianliao, TE14; Jianzhen, SI9; Bingfeng, GB13) and then crosses behind the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian. (Tianliao, TE15) It enters the Supraclavicular Fossa. It spreads in the Shanzhong (Chest Center). It disperses and connects with the Pericardium. It descends through the diaphragm and belongs to the Sanjiao (Triple Burner). Its branch arises from the Shanzhong, ascends out of the Supraclavicular Fossa, goes up to the neck (Jianjing, GB21), and connects behind the ear. (Tianyao, TE16; Yifeng, TE17; Chimai, TE18; Luxi, TE19) It goes straight up out of the upper angle of the ear. (Jiaosun, TE20; Xuanli, GB7; Han'yan, GB18) It bends downward to the cheek, reaching the zygomatic bone. (Quanliao, SI18) Another branch enters the ear from behind it. (Tinggong, SI19) It exits in front of the ear. (Tinghui, GB2; Ermen, TE21; Heliao, TE22) It passes anterior to the Key Master (Shangguan, GB3), crosses the cheek, and reaches the outer canthus of the eye. (Tongziliao, GB1)
It is also stated: The divergent collateral of the Hand-Shaoyang meridian is named Waiguan (TE5), located two cun distal to the wrist crease. It winds around the arm and pours into the chest center, merging with the Heart Master (Pericardium).
The *Qifu Chapter* states: There are thirty-two acupoints where the Qi of the Hand-Shaoyang meridian issues. One on each side below the zygomatic bone. (Note: Refers to Quanliao, SI18, bilateral.) One on each side behind the eyebrow. (Refers to Sizhukong, TE23, bilateral.) One on each side at the upper angle of the head. (Refers to Xuanli, GB7, bilateral.) One on each side behind the lower end of the mastoid process (Wangu). (Refers to Tianyao, TE16, bilateral.) One on each side in the nape, anterior to the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian. (Refers to Fengchi, GB20, bilateral.) One on each side flanking Futu (LI18). (Refers to Tianchuang, SI16, bilateral.) One at Jianzhen (SI9) on each side. (This is the name of the Jianzhen point.) One in the interval three cun below Jianzhen on each side. (Refers to Jianliao, TE14; Hui, TE13; Xiaoluo, TE12, six points bilaterally.) From the elbow down to the base of the little and ring fingers, there are six Shu-points on each side. (Refers to Tianjing, TE10; Zhigou, TE6; Yangchi, TE4; Zhongzhu, TE3; Yemen, TE2; Guanchong, TE1, six points.)
The *Jingbie Chapter* states: The regular pathway of the Hand-Shaoyang meridian points to heaven. It branches off at the vertex, enters the Supraclavicular Fossa, descends to the Sanjiao (Triple Burner), and disperses in the chest center.
The *Jingjin Chapter* states: The Jing-Sinus (Muscular System) of the Hand-Shaoyang meridian originates at the tips of the little and ring fingers, knots at the upper wrist, follows the arm and knots at the elbow, ascends around the lateral aspect of the elbow to the shoulder, and travels to the neck. It merges with the Hand-Taiyang meridian. Its branch is located at the curved jaw, entering to connect with the root of the tongue. Another branch ascends to the Quya (near the angle of the mandible), follows the anterior aspect of the ear, belongs to the outer canthus, and climbs up to the mandible to knot at the head's angle.
The *Benshu Chapter* states: The Lower He-Sea point of the Sanjiao (Triple Burner), Weiyang (BL39), is located anterior to the big toe (the *Jia Yi Jing* reads "Taiyang"), posterior to the Shaoyang, emerging from the lateral aspect of the popliteal fossa. It is named Weiyang. This is the Luo-Connecting point of the Taiyang meridian and relates to the Hand-Shaoyang meridian.
It is also stated: The Hand-Shaoyang meridian emerges behind the ear and adds above the Wangu (Mastoid Process).
The *Wei Qi Chapter* states: The Ben (Root) of the Hand-Shaoyang meridian is two cun above the space between the little and ring fingers. The Biao (Branch/Marker) is below the upper angle of the ear on the lateral aspect.
Guanchong (TE1): Where the Qi of the Hand-Shaoyang meridian issues (Jing-Well point).

Tianyao (TE16): Where the Qi issues.
Yifeng (TE17): Confluence of Hand-Shaoyang and Foot-Shaoyang.
Chimai (TE18).
Luxi (TE19): Where the Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang meridian issues. (Note: "Foot" should be "Hand".)
Jiaosun (TE20): Confluence of Hand-Shaoyang, Foot-Shaoyang, and Hand-Yangming. (*Qifu Chapter* says "Hand-Taiyang"; likely a typo for "Shaoyang". Note: *Ju Ying* reads Yangming as Taiyang.)
Ermen (TE21).
Tinghui (GB2): Where the Qi issues. (Note: Belongs to the distribution of Hand-Yangming.)
Heliao (TE22): Confluence of Hand-Shaoyang, Foot-Shaoyang, and Hand-Taiyang. (Note: No mention of Hand-Yangming.)
According to the *Waitai Mi Yao*: Among the fifty-six points on both sides, there are no Jianliao (TE14 - Large Intestine), Luxi (TE19 - Gallbladder), or Ermen (TE21 - Stomach); instead, there are Jianjing (GB21 - Gallbladder), Tinggong (SI19 - Small Intestine), Tianrong (SI17 - Gallbladder), Quanliao (SI18), Jianzhen (SI9), Jianwaishu (SI14), Jianzhongshu (SI13), and Qu Yuan (SI14) (totaling nine points belonging to Small Intestine), and Quepen (ST12 - Stomach). The *Fahui* mentions the Hui point (Large Intestine).
