(There are one hundred and twenty-six acupoints on both sides combined.)
The *Jingmai Pian* (Chapter on Meridians) states: The Bladder is the pathway of the Foot-Taiyang meridian. It originates at the inner canthus of the eye (Jingming, BL1), ascends to the forehead (passing through Cuanzhu, BL2; Shenting, GV24; Qucha, BL6; Wuchu, BL7; Chengguang, BL74; Tongtian, BL76), and intersects at the vertex (Baihui, GV20). Its branch travels from the vertex to the upper angle of the ear (passing through Tianchong, GB37; Lvgu, GB8; Qubin, GB7; Fu Bai, GB12; Qiaoyin, GB11; Wanggu, GB12). The straight course enters the brain from the vertex, emerges again (passing through Luoque, BL9; Yuzhen, BL11), descends separately through the nape (passing through Tianzhu, BL10; Dazhui, GV14; Taodao, GV13), follows the medial aspect of the shoulder blades, flanking the spine (passing through Dazhu, BL11; Fengmen, BL12; Feishu, BL13; Jueyinshu, BL14; Xinshu, BL15; Geshu, BL17; Ganshu, BL18; Danshu, BL19; Pishu, BL20; Weishu, BL21; Sanjiaoshu, BL22; Shenshu, BL23; Dachangshu, BL25; Xiaochangshu, BL27; Pangguangshu, BL28; Zhonglvsu, BL29; Baihuanxu, BL30), reaches the middle of the waist, enters internally to follow the sacrum, connects with the Kidney, and belongs to the Bladder. Another branch descends from the middle of the waist, flanks the spine, and penetrates the buttocks (passing through Shangliao, BL31; Ciliao, BL32; Zhongliao, BL33; Xialiao, BL34; Huiyang, BL35; Chengfu, BL36; Yinmen, BL37), enters the popliteal fossa (Weizhong, BL40). Another branch separates from the medial aspect of the shoulder, descends bilaterally, penetrates the scapula, and flanks the spine internally (passing through Fufen, BL41; Pohu, BL42; Gaohuang, BL43; Shendao, GV11; Lingtai, GV10; Ge Guan, BL45; Hunmen, BL47; Yanggang, BL48; Yishe, BL49; Weicang, BL50; Huangmen, BL51; Zhishi, BL52; Baohuang, BL53; Zhibian, BL54), passes over the hip joint (Huantiao, GB30), follows the posterior lateral aspect of the thigh (passing through Fuxi, BL38; Weiyang, BL39), joins below in the popliteal fossa, and descends further (passing through Heyang, BL55; Chengjin, BL56), penetrates the interior of the calf muscle (passing through Chengshan, BL57; Feiyang, BL58; Fuyang, BL59), emerges behind the lateral malleolus (passing through Kunlun, BL60; Pucan, BL61; Shenmai, BL62; Jinmen, BL63), follows the Jinggu point (Jinggu, BL64; Shugu, BL65), and arrives at the lateral side of the little toe (passing through Tonggu, BL66; Zhiyin, BL67).
It is also stated: The collateral branch of the Foot-Taiyang meridian is named Feiyang (BL58). At seven cun above the ankle, it diverges to connect with the Foot-Shaoyin meridian.
The *Jingbie Pian* (Chapter on Divergent Meridians) states: The proper pathway of the Foot-Taiyang meridian diverges into the popliteal fossa. One of its branches descends five cun below the coccyx, diverges into the anus, belongs to the Bladder, and disperses in the Kidney. It follows the sacrum upwards, disperses around the Heart region. The straight trunk ascends from the sacrum, emerges at the nape, and re-attaches to the Foot-Taiyang meridian. This constitutes one complete meridian connection.
The *Qifu Lun* (Treatise on Qi-Generating Points) states: There are seventy-eight points where the Qi of the Foot-Taiyang meridian manifests. One point at each inner canthus (the secondary note identifies this as Cuanzhu, BL2). From the hairline to the nape, three cun and half, opening laterally five cun, with a distance of three cun between them (referring to Dazhu, BL11 and Fengmen, BL12, two points on each side. ○ The New Correction notes that later generations mistakenly identified the vertex as the nape). The floating Qi in the skin forms five rows, five points per row, totaling twenty-five points. (The central row consists of Xinhui, GV22; Qian Ding, GV21; Baihui, GV20; Hou Ding, GV19; Jiangjian, GV18, which belong to the Du Mai. The next two lateral rows consist of Wuchu, BL7; Chengguang, BL74; Tongtian, BL76; Luoque, BL9; Yuzhen, BL11, five points each, belonging to the Foot-Taiyang Qi. The outermost two lateral rows consist of Linqi, GB15; Mucuang, GB16; Zhengying, GB17; Chengling, GB19; Naokong, GB20, five points each, belonging to the Foot-Shaoyang Qi.) One point on each side of the large tendon in the nape (referring to Tianzhu, BL10, two points). One point on each side of Fengfu (GV16) (referring to Fengchi, GB20, two points). From the back down to the sacrococcygeal region, across twenty-one vertebrae and fifteen interspaces, one point in each interspace (The current *Zhonggao Acupoint Chart* retains twelve points, twenty-six on both sides, referring to Fufen, BL41; Pohu, BL42; Shentang, BL44; Lingtai, GV10; Ge Guan, BL45; Hunmen, BL47; Yanggang, BL48; Yishe, BL49; Weicang, BL50; Huangmen, BL51; Zhishi, BL52; Baohuang, BL53; Zhibian, BL54, thirteen points). Each of the Five Zang Shu points has five points; each of the Six Fu Shu points has six points (Feishu, BL13; Xinshu, BL15; Ganshu, BL18; Pishu, BL20; Shenshu, BL23; Danshu, BL19; Dachangshu, BL25; Weishu, BL21; Sanjiaoshu, BL22; Xiaochangshu, BL27; Pangguangshu, BL28). Below Weizhong (BL40) to the lateral side of the little toe, there are six Shu points on each side (referring to Weizhong, BL40; Kunlun, BL60; Jinggu, BL64; Shugu, BL65; Tonggu, BL66; Zhiyin, BL67, six points).
The *Jingjin Pian* (Chapter on Sinew Meridians) states: The sinew of the Foot-Taiyang meridian originates at the little toe, ascends and binds at the ankle, obliquely ascends and binds at the knee. Its lower part follows the lateral malleolus and binds at the heel, ascending along the Achilles tendon and binding at the popliteal fossa. Its branch binds at the lateral aspect of the popliteal fossa, ascends along the medial margin of the fossa, meets with the sinews in the fossa, ascends and binds at the buttock, ascends flanking the spine, and reaches the nape. Its branch diverges and binds at the root of the tongue. The straight part binds at the occiput, ascends over the head, descends to the face, and binds at the nose. Its branch becomes the upper eyelid constraint, descending to bind at the cheekbone. Its branch arises from the posterior-lateral aspect of the axilla, binds at the shoulder. Its branch enters the axilla, ascends out of the supraclavicular fossa, and binds at Wanggu (GB12). Another branch exits the supraclavicular fossa and ascends obliquely to the face.
Jingming (BL1): Intersection of Foot-Taiyang, Hand-Taiyang, and Foot-Yangming meridians. ○ *Waitai Mi Yao* lists Hand-Taiyang, Hand-Yangming. Secondary note adds Yin Qiao and Yang Qiao, making it an intersection of five vessels.

Zhonglvsu (BL29)
Baihuanxu (BL30): (Where Qi manifests)
Shangliao (BL31): Collateral of Foot-Taiyang and Foot-Shaoyang.
Ciliao (BL32), Zhongliao (BL33): Secondary note states: The branch of Foot-Jueyin diverges and connects with Foot-Taiyin and Foot-Shaoyang below the waist and ankle, flanking the third and fourth vertebral spaces. These points are Zhongliao and Xialiao. ○ *Fa Hui* states: Foot-Shaoyin and Foot-Shaoyang gather and intersect here. *Zhenjiu Ju Ying* reads Foot-Shaoyin as Foot-Jueyin.
Xialiao (BL34): Secondary note states: The collateral of Foot-Taiyin merges with Foot-Yangming anteriorly, passes through the sacrum, and connects with Foot-Jueyin and Foot-Shaoyang at Xialiao. New Correction states: Examining Wang Bing's note regarding the collateral of Foot-Taiyin, according to *Jia Yi Jing*, it is the proper channel of Taiyin, not a collateral. Wang's designation as collateral is unclear.
Huiyang (BL35): Where the Qi of Du Mai manifests.
Chengfu (BL36)
Yinmen (BL37)
Fuxi (BL38)
Weiyang (BL39): Collateral branch of Foot-Taiyang.
Weizhong (BL40): He-Sea point (where Qi enters).

Feiyang (BL58): Diverges to connect with Foot-Shaoyin.
Fuyang (BL59): Origin of Yang Qiao Mai.
Kunlun (BL60): Jing-River point (where Qi flows).
Pucan (BL61): (Same as above) ○ *Zhenjiu Ju Ying* states: Root of Yang Qiao Mai.
Shenmai (BL62): Source point of Yang Qiao Mai. ○ *Zhenjiu Ju Ying* states: Exit of Yang Qiao Mai.
Jinmen (BL63): Xi-Cleft point of Foot-Taiyang, where Yang Wei Mai diverges.
Jinggu (BL64): Yuan-Source point (where Qi passes).
Shugu (BL65): Shu-Stream point (where Qi pours).
Tonggu (BL66): Ying-Spring point (where Qi slips/flows) ○ *Zhenjiu Ju Ying* states "flows".
Zhiyin (BL67): Jing-Well point (where Qi exits).
According to the *Qifu Lun*: There are thirty-six points where the Qi of the Hand-Taiyang meridian manifests. One at each inner canthus. Secondary note states: Refers to Jingming (BL1), two points. *Qian Jin Fang* does not list Fuyang (BL59) (entering Shaoyang). *Waitai Mi Yao* states: One hundred and twenty points on both sides (likely missing two characters). Note states: Including twenty-two single points plus Gaohuang (BL43) and Fufen (BL41) as accessory points, totaling one hundred and forty-four points. Cheng Yandao states: According to the original text, this meridian has sixty-three points. Here, two are missing (Jingming is assigned to Small Intestine, Jueyinshu is absent), leaving sixty-one points. Bilaterally, this makes one hundred and twenty-two points. Adding the twenty-two points of the Du Mai results in one hundred and forty-four points. The Du Mai originally has twenty-seven points, but now lacks five (Yinjiao, GV26; Duiduan, GV25; Shuigou, GV26 - three points assigned to Large Intestine; Lingtai, GV10 assigned to [blank]; Yangguan, EX-B7 assigned to Gallbladder Meridian), thus only twenty-two remain. Current examination: *Waitai Mi Yao* does not record Lingtai (GV10). Cheng's note "[blank]" indicates a missing character correction. *Ru Men* includes Meichong (EX-HN4), Qihai Shu (BL24), Guanyuan Shu (BL26), which are now classified as Extra Points.
