Huaijiao Zi (Sophorae Fructus Immaturus) 5 qian, Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Zhiqiao (Aurantii Fructus), Diyü (Sanguisorbae Radix), Guanzhong (Cyathulae Rhizoma) each 3 qian.
Decoct in water and take orally. In the past, Grand Marshal Pan suffered from this condition. Sun Wen Yuan treated him with this prescription, and bleeding stopped after one dose. Therefore, he wrote this prescription on the wall; when treating others with blood in stool, all recovered immediately.

Large Intestine Bleeding (Suitable for both deficiency and excess patterns)
Fa Hui (Calci Corium / Human Hair Ash) 5 qian, Jiguan Hua (Celosiae Cristatae Flos), Bai Ye (Meli Folium) each 1 liang.

Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, soaked in wine, steamed and dried nine times) 2 liang, Huaihua (Sophorae Flos) 3 liang, Mu'er (Auriculariae Auricula-Judae) 3 liang, Yuliren (Prunus Semen), Zaojiaozi (Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina), Xiangya Xie (Elephantis Dentis Fragmentum), Tiao Qin (Scutellariae Radix), Xue [Note: Text implies a missing herb name or specific term] ground together into powder. Decoct 2 bowls of water until reduced to 0.8 bowl. Take before meals.
