This formula is named Pili San (Thunderbolt Powder), meaning to break through yin pathogenic turbidity. This formula is highly inappropriate for treating Yang Kuang (Manic Disorder); however, if used to treat Chi Dian (Insanity/Epilepsy), it possesses the subtlety of "guiding along the natural fissures" (Pi Que Dao Kuan).
