This originally belongs to miscellaneous disease treatment; the pathology is also similar to Phlegm Obstruction Huo Luan (Cholera-like syndrome). It is also appropriate to treat according to the Huo Luan chapter methods. Sudden occurrence of the above symptoms in people is rare; they are mostly due to complications from other diseases. Some arise from incomplete recovery from Shang Han (Cold Damage), some from deficiency and dryness after Huo Luan vomiting and diarrhea, some from fatigue and damage leading to palpitations and fullness after taking various tonics, some from exposure to cold or heat pathogenic factors, some from food poisoning, and some from improper medication. All should be treated by tracing their root causes, and one must not rely solely on this single method.
