裴氏五毒神膏，疗中恶暴百病方。
雄黄，朱砂，当归，椒各二两，乌头一升，以苦酒渍一宿。猪脂五斤，东面陈芦，煎五
上，五下，绞去滓。纳雄黄，朱砂，末，搅令相得，毕。诸卒百病，温酒服，如枣核一枚，
不瘥，更服，得下即除。四肢有病，可摩，痈肿诸病疮，皆摩敷之。夜行及病冒雾露，皆以
涂人身中，佳。
效方，并疗时行温疫，诸毒瓦斯，毒恶核，金疮等。
苍梧道士，陈元膏疗百病方。
当归，天雄，乌头各三两，细辛，芎 ，朱砂各二两，干姜，附子，雄黄各二两半，桂
心，白芷各一两，松脂八两，生地黄二斤，捣，绞取汁，十三物别，捣，雄黄，朱砂，为末
，余 咀，以酽苦酒三升，合地黄渍药一宿，取猪脂八斤，微火煎十五沸。白芷黄为度，绞
去滓。纳雄黄，朱砂，末，搅令调和。密器贮之，腹内病，皆对火摩病上日两三度，从十日
乃至二十日，取病出瘥止。四肢肥肉，风瘴，亦可酒温服之，如杏子大，一枚。
主心腹积聚，四肢痹 ，举体风残，百病效方。
华佗虎骨膏，疗百病。
虎骨，野葛各三两，附子十五枚，重九两，椒三升，杏仁，巴豆，去心皮。芎 ，切
，各一升，甘草，细辛各一两。雄黄二两，十物苦酒渍周时，猪脂六斤，微煎三上三下。完
附子一枚，视黄为度，绞去滓。乃纳雄黄，搅使稠和，密器贮之。百病皆摩敷上，唯不得入
眼，若服之，可如枣大，纳一合热酒中，须臾后，拔白发，以敷处，即生。乌猪疮毒风肿及
马鞍疮等，洗即瘥，牛领亦然。
莽草膏，疗诸贼风，肿痹，风入五脏，恍惚方。
莽草一斤，乌头，附子，踯躅各三两，四物切，以水苦酒一升，渍一宿。猪脂四斤，煎
三上三下，绞去滓。向火以手摩病上，三百度，应手即瘥，耳鼻病，可以绵裹塞之，疗诸疥
，癣，杂疮。
隐居效验方，云，并疗手脚挛，不得举动及头恶风，背胁卒痛等。
蛇衔膏，疗痈肿，金疮，瘀血，产后血积，耳目诸病，牛领马鞍疮。
蛇衔，大黄，附子，当归，芍药，细辛，黄芩，椒，莽草，独活各一两。薤白十四茎，
十一物苦酒淹渍一宿，猪脂三斤，合煎于七星火上。各沸，绞去滓，温酒服如弹丸一枚，日
再。病在外，摩敷之。耳以绵裹塞之，目病如黍米注 中，其色缃黄，一名缃膏，□人又用
龙衔藤一两，合煎，名为龙衔膏。
神黄膏，疗诸恶疮，头疮，百杂疮方。
黄连，黄柏，附子，雄黄，水银，藜芦各一两，胡粉二两，七物细筛，以腊月猪脂一斤
，和药调器中，急密塞口。蒸五斗米，下熟出，纳水银，又研，令调，密藏之。有诸疮，先
以盐汤洗，乃敷上，无不瘥者。
《隐居效验方》，云，此膏涂疮一度即瘥，时人为圣。
青龙五生膏，疗天下杂疮方。
丹砂，雄黄，芎 ，椒，防己各五分，龙胆，梧桐皮，柏皮，青竹茹，桑白皮，蜂房，
皮各四两，蛇蜕皮一具，十三物，切，以苦酒浸半月，微火煎少时。乃纳腊月猪脂三斤，
煎
三上三下，去滓，以敷疮上，并服。如枣核大，神良。
《隐居效验方》云，主痈疽，痔，恶疮等。
以前备急诸方故是要验，此来积用效者，亦次于后云。
扁鹊陷水丸，疗内胀病，并蛊疰中恶等，及蜂，百毒，溪毒，射工。
雄黄，真丹砂，别研，矾石，熬各一两。将生矾石三两半，烧之。鬼臼一两半，蜈蚣一
枚，赤足者小炙，斑蝥，去翅足，龙胆，附子，炮，各七枚。藜芦七分，炙，杏仁四十枚，
去尖，皮熬，捣，筛，蜜和，捣千杵。腹内胀病，中恶邪气，飞尸游走，皆服二丸如小豆。
若积聚坚结，服四丸，取痢，泄下虫蛇五色。若虫注病中，恶邪，飞尸，游走，皆服二三丸
，以二丸摩痛上。若蛇蜂，百病，苦中溪毒，射工，其服者，视强弱大小，及病轻重，加减
服之。
丹参膏，疗伤寒时行贼风恶气。
在外，即肢节麻痛，喉咽痹寒。入腹，则心急胀满，胸胁痞塞。内则服之，外则摩之。
并瘫痪不随风湿痹不仁。偏枯拘屈，口 ，耳聋，齿痛，头风，痹肿，脑中风动，且痛若痈
，结核漏，瘰 坚肿，未溃敷之。取消，及丹疹诸肿无头，欲状骨疽者。摩之令消，及恶结
核，走身中者，风水游肿亦摩之，其服者。如枣核大，小儿以意减之。日五服，数用之，悉
效。丹参，蒴 各三两，莽草叶，踯躅花各一两，秦胶，独活，乌头，川椒，连翘，桑白皮
，牛膝各二两，十二物。以苦酒五升，油麻七升，煎令苦酒尽，去滓用如前法。亦用猪脂同
煎之，若是风寒冷毒，可用酒服。若毒热病，但单服。牙齿痛，单服之，仍用绵裹嚼之，比
常用猪脂煎药，有小儿耳后 子，其坚如骨，已经数月不尽，以帛涂膏贴之。二十日消尽，
神效无比，此方出《短剧》。
神明白膏疗百病，中风恶气，头面诸病，青盲，风烂 鼻，耳聋，寒齿痛，痈肿，疽痔
，金疮，癣疥，悉主之。
当归，细辛各三两，吴茱萸，芎 ，蜀椒术，前胡，白芷各一两，附子三十枚，九物
切，煎猪脂十斤。炭火煎一沸，即下，三上三下。白芷黄，膏成，去滓。密贮，看病在内，
酒服如弹丸一枚，日三，在外皆摩敷之。目病，如黍米纳两 中，以目向天风可扇之，疮虫
齿，亦得敷之。耳内底着亦疗之，缓，风冷者，宜用之。
成膏。
清麻油十三两，菜油亦得，黄丹七两，二物铁铛文火煎，粗湿柳批篦，搅不停。至色黑
，加武火，仍以扇扇之，搅不停。烟断绝尽，看渐稠，膏成，煎须净处，勿令鸡犬见，齿疮
贴，痔疮服之。
药子一物方。
婆罗门胡名船疏树子，国人名药疗病，唯须细研，勿令粗。皆取其中仁，去皮用之。
疗诸疾病方。
卒得吐泻，霍乱，蛊毒，脐下绞痛，赤痢，心腹胀满，宿食不消，蛇螫毒入腹，被毒箭
入腹，并服二枚。取药子中人，暖水二合，研碎，服之。疽疮，附骨疽肿，疔疮，痈肿，此
四病，量疮肿大小，用药子中仁，暖水碎，和猪胆封上，疖肿，冷游肿，癣疮，此五病，用
醋研，封上。蛇螫，恶毛蝎，蜈蚣等螫，沙虱，射工，此六病，用暖水研。赤苋，和封之。
妇人难产后，腹中绞痛，及恶露不止，痛中瘀血下，此六病，以一枚，一杯酒，研，温服之。
带下，暴下，此二病，以栗汁，研，温服之。龋虫食齿，细削纳孔中，立愈。其捣末筛，着
疮上，甚主肌肉，此法出支家大医本方。
服盐方，疗暴得热病，头痛目眩，并卒心腹痛，及欲霍乱，痰饮宿食及气满喘息，久下
赤白，及积聚吐逆，乏气少力，颜色痿黄，瘴疟，诸风，其服法。
取上好盐，先以大豆许，口中含勿咽，须臾水当满口，水近齿，更用方寸匕。抄盐纳口
中，与水一时咽，不尔，或令消尽，喉若久病，长服者，至二三月，每旦先服，或吐，或安
击卒病，可服三方寸匕。取即吐痢，不吐病痢，更加服，新患疟者，即瘥。心腹痛，及满得
吐下，亦佳。久病，每上以心中热为善，三五日，亦服，佳。加服。取吐痢，痢不损人，
久服大补，补豚肾气五石，无不瘥之病。但恨人不服，不能久取，此疗方不一，《短剧》云
，卒心痛鬼气，宿食不消，霍乱气满中毒，咸作汤，服一二升，刺便吐之，良。
葛氏，常备药。
大黄，桂心，甘草，干姜，黄连，椒，术，吴茱萸，熟艾，雄黄，犀角，麝香，菖蒲，
人参，芍药，附子，巴豆，半夏，麻黄，柴胡，杏仁，葛根，黄芩，乌头，秦胶等，此等药
并应各少许。
以前诸药，固以大要岭南使用，仍开者，今复疏之，众药并成剂药。自常和合，贮此之
备，最先于衣食耳。
常山十四两，蜀漆，石膏一斤，阿胶七两，牡蛎，朱砂，大青各七两，鳖三枚，鲮鲤甲
一斤，乌贼，鱼骨，马蔺子一大升，蜀升麻十四两，槟榔五十枚，龙骨，赤石脂，羚羊角三
枚，橘皮，独活，其不注两数者，各四两，用芒硝一升，良。
成剂药
金牙散，玉壶黄丸，三物备急药。紫雪，丹参， 草膏，玉黄丸，度瘴散，末散理中散
，痢药，疔肿药。其有侧注者，随得一种，为佳。
老君神明白散。
术，附子，炮，各二两，乌头，炮，桔梗，二两，细辛一两，捣，筛，旦服，五方寸匕
。若一家有药，则一里无病，带行者，所遇病气皆削。若他人得病者，温酒服一方寸匕。若
已四五日者，以散三匕，水三升，煮三沸，服一升，取汗，即愈。
云常用辟病散。
真珠，桂肉各一分，贝母三分，杏仁二分，熬，鸡子白，熬令黄黑，三分。五物捣，筛
，岁旦服方寸匕，若岁中多病，可月月朔望服。
单行方。
南向社中柏，东向枝，取曝干，末服方寸匕。姚云，疾疫流行预备之。名为柏枝散，服
，神良。删烦方云，旦，南行见社中柏，即便收取之。
断温病，令不相染方。
熬豉，新米，酒渍，常服之。
《短剧》，正朝屠苏酒法，令人不病温疫。
大黄五分，川椒五分，术，桂，各三分，桔梗四分，乌头一分， 楔二分，七物细切
，以绢囊贮之。十二月晦日正中时，悬置井中至泥，正晓拜庆前出之，正旦。取药置酒中，
屠苏饮之，于东向，药置井中，能迎岁，可世无此病。此华佗法，武帝有方验中，从小至大
。少随所堪，一人饮，一家无患，饮药三朝。
一方，有防风一两。
姚大夫，辟温病粉身方。
芎 ，白芷， 本，三物等分。下筛，纳粉中，以涂粉于身，大良。
附方
张仲景三物备急方，司空裴秀为散，用疗心腹诸疾，卒暴百病。
用大黄，干姜，巴豆各一两，须精新好者，捣，筛，蜜和。更捣一千杵，丸如小豆，服
三丸。老小斟量之，为散不及丸也。若中恶客忤，心腹胀满，卒痛，如锥刀刺痛，气急口噤
，停尸卒死者，以暖水若酒服之。若不下，捧头起，灌令下喉，须臾瘥。未知，更与三丸。
腹当鸣转，即吐下，便愈。若口已噤，亦须折齿灌之，药入喉，即瘥。
崔氏《海上方》云，威灵仙去众风，通十二经脉。此药朝服暮效，疏宣五脏冷脓，宿水
变病，微利不泻，人服此，四肢轻健手足温暖，并得清凉。时商州有人患重足，不履地，经

不瘥。忽遇新罗僧见云，此疾有药可理，遂入山求之。遣服数日，平复后，留此药名
而去。
此药治丈夫妇人中风不语，手足不随，口眼 斜，筋骨节风，胎风，头风，暗风，心
风，风
狂人。伤寒头痛，鼻清涕，服经二度，伤寒即止。头旋目眩，白癜风，极治。大风，
皮肤风
痒。大毒，热毒，风疮，深治劳疾。连腰骨节风，绕腕风，言语涩滞，痰积。宣通五
脏，腹
内宿滞，心头痰水，膀胱宿脓，口中涎水，好吃茶渍。手足顽痹，冷热气壅，腰膝疼
痛，久
立不得，浮气瘴气，憎寒壮热。头痛尤甚，攻耳成脓而聋。又冲眼赤，大小肠秘，服
此立通
，饮食即住。黄胆，黑疸，面无颜色。瘰 遍项，产后秘涩暨腰痛，曾经损坠心痛。
注气膈
气，冷气攻冲，肾脏，风壅，腹肚胀满，头面浮肿，注毒脾肺气痰热， 嗽，气急，
坐卧不
安，疥癣等疮。妇人月水不来，动经多日，血气冲心，阴汗盗汗，鸦臭秽甚，气息不
堪，勤
服威灵仙，更用热汤尽日频洗。朝涂若唾，若治鸦臭，药自涂身上，内外涂之，当得
平愈。
孩子无辜，令母含药灌之。痔疾秘涩，气痢绞结，并皆治之。威灵仙一味，洗焙为末，
以好
酒和，令微湿，入在竹筒内，牢塞口，九蒸九曝。如干，添酒重洒之，以白蜜和为丸。
如桐
子大，每服二十至三十丸，汤酒下。
《千金方》，当以五月五日午时，附地刈取 耳叶。
洗，曝，燥，捣，下筛，酒若浆水。服方寸匕，日三，夜三。散若吐逆，可蜜和为丸，
准计一方匕数也，风轻易治者，
日再服，若身体有风处，皆作粟肌出，或如麻豆粒。此为风毒出也，可以针刺溃去之，
皆黄汁出乃止。五月五日，多取阴干，着大瓮中，稍取用之。此草辟恶，若欲省病省疾者，
便服之。令人无所畏，若时气不和，举家服之。若病胃胀满，心闷发热，即服之。并杀三虫
，肠痔，能进食，一周年服之，佳。七月七，九月九可采用。
Pei's Five-Toxin Divine Ointment, a prescription for treating sudden onset of various diseases caused by evil qi.
Realgar (Xionghuang), Cinnabar (Zhusha), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), and Zanthoxyli Pericarpium (Jiao) each two liang; Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Wutou) one sheng. Soak in vinegar overnight. Take five jin of lard, use reeds facing east that have been stored for years, decoct with the "three up, three down" method (boil, remove from heat, cool, repeat), strain to remove dregs. Add powdered Realgar and Cinnabar, stir until well mixed. For various sudden diseases, take orally with warm wine, one pill the size of a jujube pit. If not cured, take again; symptoms will resolve upon expulsion. For limb ailments, massage externally; for carbuncles, swellings, and sores, massage and apply topically. When traveling at night or suffering from exposure to fog and dew, apply to the body; this is beneficial.
This effective prescription also treats epidemic febrile diseases (Shixing Wenyi), various toxic vapors, malignant lymph node enlargements (Du E He), and metal weapon injuries (Jinchuang).
Chen Yuan Ointment from the Daoist of Cangwu, for treating hundred diseases.
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Tianxiong, and Aconiti Radix (Wutou) each three liang; Asari Radix (Xixin), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Xiong), and Cinnabar (Zhusha) each two liang; Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Ganjiang), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Fuzi), and Realgar (Xionghuang) each two and a half liang; Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guixin) and Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi) each one liang; Pine Resin (Songzhi) eight liang; Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Sheng Dihuang) two jin. Crush the first twelve herbs and press to extract juice. Process the thirteenth separately: powder the Realgar and Cinnabar, and chop the remaining herbs. Soak the herbs in three sheng of strong vinegar combined with the Rehmannia juice overnight. Take eight jin of lard, decoct over low heat for fifteen boils. When the Baizhi turns yellow, strain to remove dregs. Add powdered Realgar and Cinnabar, stir to mix. Store in a sealed vessel. For internal abdominal diseases, massage the affected area over a fire two to three times daily for ten to twenty days, until the disease is expelled and cured. For limb obesity and wind-miasma, it can also be taken orally with warm wine, one pill the size of an apricot kernel.
It primarily treats abdominal accumulations (Xinfu Jiju), limb bi-syndrome (Sij Bi), systemic wind residual damage, and is an effective prescription for hundred diseases.
Hua Tuo's Tiger Bone Ointment, for treating hundred diseases.
Tiger Bone (Hugu) and Gnetum Gnemon (Yege) each three liang; fifteen pieces of Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Fuzi) weighing nine liang; Zanthoxyli Pericarpium (Jiao) three sheng; Almond (Xingren) and Crotonis Fructus (Badou) with hearts and skins removed; Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Xiong) chopped, one sheng each; Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) and Asari Radix (Xixin) each one liang; Realgar (Xionghuang) two liang. Soak the ten herbs in vinegar for a week. Take six jin of lard, decoct gently with the "three up, three down" method. Keep one whole piece of Fuzi, stop when yellow, strain to remove dregs. Then add Realgar, stir until thick and mixed, store in a sealed vessel. Apply topically to all diseases, but avoid eyes. If taken orally, take a amount the size of a jujube, dissolve in one ge of hot wine; after a moment, white hair pulled out and applied to the site will regrow. For pig ulcers, toxic swellings, saddle sores, etc., washing cures them; similar conditions on cattle necks are treated likewise.
Mangcao Ointment, for treating various thief-winds (Zefeng), swelling and bi-syndrome, wind entering the five zang organs causing trance-like states.
Dichroae Radix (Mangcao) one jin; Aconiti Radix (Wutou), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Fuzi), and Daphne Genkwa Flower (Zhizhu) each three liang. Chop the four herbs, soak in one sheng of water and vinegar overnight. Take four jin of lard, decoct with "three up, three down," strain to remove dregs. Massage the affected area over a fire three hundred times; it cures instantly. For ear and nose diseases, wrap in cotton and insert; treats various scabies, tinea, and miscellaneous sores.
The Hermit's Effective Verification Prescription states it also treats hand and foot contracture, inability to move, head aversion to wind, and sudden back and flank pain.
She Xian Ointment, for treating carbuncles, metal injuries, blood stasis, postpartum blood accumulation, ear and eye diseases, and cattle neck saddle sores.
Omphalodes Scabra (Shexian), Rheum Palmatum (Dahuang), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Fuzi), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Paeoniae Radix (Shaoyao), Asari Radix (Xixin), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Zanthoxyli Pericarpium (Jiao), Dichroae Radix (Mangcao), and Angelicae Pubescentis Radix (Duhuo) each one liang; Allii Macrostemonis Bulbus (Xiebai) fourteen stems. Soak the eleven herbs in vinegar overnight. Take three jin of lard, decoct together over a seven-star fire. Boil each time, strain to remove dregs. Take orally with warm wine, one pill the size of a bullet, twice daily. For external diseases, massage and apply. For ear diseases, wrap in cotton and insert. For eye diseases where something like a millet grain enters the eye with light yellow color (named Xiang Gao), some use One ounce of Clematis Vitalba Vine (Longxianteng) decocted together, named Longxian Gao.
Shenhuang Ointment, for treating various malignant sores, head sores, and miscellaneous sores.
Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Fuzi), Realgar (Xionghuang), Mercury (Shuiyin), and Veratrum Nigrum (Lilu) each one liang; Lead Carbonate (Hufen) two liang. Sieve the seven herbs finely. Mix with one jin of lard rendered in the twelfth lunar month in a container, seal tightly. Steam for the time it takes to cook five dou of rice, then remove. Add mercury, grind again until mixed, store tightly. For any sores, wash with salt water first, then apply; none fail to cure.
The Hermit's Effective Verification Prescription says applying this ointment once cures sores, hence called a holy prescription by people of the time.
Qinglong Wusheng Ointment, for treating miscellaneous sores worldwide.
Cinnabar (Dansha), Realgar (Xionghuang), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Xiong), Zanthoxyli Pericarpium (Jiao), and Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix (Fangji) each five fen; Gentianae Radix (Longdan), Firmiana Simplex Bark (Wutongpi), Platycladi Cortex (Bai pi), Bambusa Textilis Sheath (Qingzhuru), and Morus Alba Root Bark (Sangbaipi), Beehive (Fengfang), and unspecified bark each four liang; Snake Slough (Shetuopi) one set. Chop the thirteen herbs, soak in vinegar for half a month, decoct briefly over low heat. Then add three jin of lard from the twelfth lunar month, decoct with "three up, three down," strain, and apply to sores; it can also be taken internally. One pill the size of a jujube pit is divine and excellent.
The Hermit's Effective Verification Prescription says it treats carbuncles, hemorrhoids, and malignant sores.
The above emergency prescriptions are important and verified; those accumulated and effective later are listed below.
Bian Que's Descent Water Pill, for treating internal distension, Gu and Zhu poisoning, evil qi, bee stings, hundred toxins, stream toxins, and Shigong (water insects).
Realgar (Xionghuang), True Cinnabar (Zhendan), separately ground; Alum (Fanshi), calcined, one liang each. Take three and a half liang of raw alum, calcine. Podophyllum Emodi Rhizome (Guijiu) one and a half liang; Centipede (Wugong) one piece (red-footed, lightly roasted); Mylabris (Banmao), wings and feet removed; Gentianae Radix (Longdan), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Fuzi, processed), seven pieces each; Veratrum Nigrum (Lilu) seven fen, roasted; Almond (Xingren) forty pieces, tips and skins removed, roasted. Crush, sieve, mix with honey, pound a thousand times. For internal distension, evil qi, flying corpse wandering (sudden migratory pain), take two pills the size of a small bean. For hard accumulations, take four pills to induce diarrhea and expel colored worms/snakes. For worm-infestation evil qi, flying corpse wandering, take two or three pills, and massage two pills on the painful area. For snake/bees, hundred toxins, stream toxins, Shigong, adjust dosage based on strength, size, and severity.
Danshen Ointment, for treating Shanghan, epidemic winds, and evil qi.
Externally, it causes numbness and pain in limbs and joints, throat obstruction and cold. Internally, it causes heart urgency, distension, chest and flank blockage. Taken internally and massaged externally. Treats paralysis, wind-damp bi-syndrome with numbness. Hemiplegia, contracture, facial deviation, deafness, toothache, headache, bi-swelling, stroke agitation, pain resembling carbuncle, tuberculous sinus, scrofula hard swelling (unulcerated), apply. Resolve Danzhen and other headless swellings, suspected bone abscess. Massage to dissipate, as well as malignant nodules spreading through the body, wind-water wandering swelling; take orally. One pill the size of a jujube pit, reduce for children. Take five times daily, use frequently, all effective. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix (Danshen) and Achyranthes Bidentatae Radix (Shuobi) each three liang; Dichroae Leaf (Mangcao Ye) and Daphne Genkwa Flower (Zhizhu Hua) each one liang; Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix (Qinjiao), Angelicae Pubescentis Radix (Duhuo), Aconiti Radix (Wutou), Sichuan Zanthoxyl Pericarpium (Chuanjiao), Forsythiae Fructus (Lianqiao), Morus Alba Root Bark (Sangbaipi), and Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi) each two liang. Twelve herbs. Decoct five sheng of vinegar and seven sheng of sesame oil until vinegar is gone, strain, use as before. Can also decoct with lard. For wind-cold-toxicity, take with wine. For toxic-heat disease, take alone. For toothache, take alone, wrapped in cotton and chewed. Compared to usual lard-decocted medicine, for children with mumps behind the ear, hard as bone for months, apply cloth soaked in ointment. Dissipates in twenty days, extremely effective. This prescription is from *Duanju*.
Shenming Baigan Ointment treats hundred diseases, wind-stroke evil qi, head and face diseases, blindness (Qingmang), wind-rotten nose, deafness, cold toothache, carbuncles, yin hemorrhoids, metal injuries, tinea, and scabies.
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) and Asari Radix (Xixin) each three liang; Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Xiong), Sichuan Zanthoxyl Pericarpium (Shuzhuo), Peucedani Radix (Qianhu), and Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi) each one liang; Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Fuzi) thirty pieces. Nine herbs chopped, decoct ten jin of lard. Boil over charcoal fire once, then proceed with "three up, three down." When Baizhi turns yellow, the ointment is ready, strain. Store tightly. For internal diseases, take orally with wine, one pill the size of a bullet, three times daily; for external diseases, massage and apply. For eye diseases, place millet-grain-sized amount in both corners of the eyes, fan towards the sky wind; for insect-sores and teeth, also applicable. For ear issues, also treats; for slow, wind-cold conditions, it is suitable.
Cheng Gao.
Clear Sesame Oil thirteen liang, Rapeseed Oil is also acceptable; Minium (Huandan) seven liang. Decoct the two ingredients in an iron wok over low heat, stir continuously with a coarse wet willow whisk. Until black, increase heat, fan while stirring continuously. When smoke ceases, observe thickening; ointment is ready. Decoct in a clean place, do not let chickens or dogs see. Apply for tooth sores, take for hemorrhoids.
Medicine Seed Single Herb Prescription.
Brahmin merchants call it Chuanshu Tree Seed, known nationally as a medicinal seed. Must be finely ground, not coarse. Use only the inner kernel, peel skin.
Prescription for Treating Various Diseases.
For sudden vomiting and diarrhea, cholera, Gu poison, umbilical colic, bloody dysentery, abdominal distension, undigested food, snake venom entering the abdomen, poisoned arrow entering the abdomen, take two seeds. Take the kernel from the seed, crush with two he of warm water, and take. For carbuncles, deep-rooted abscess swelling, ding sores, and carbuncles (four diseases), measure the swelling size, crush the kernel with warm water, mix with pig bile, and apply. For furuncles, cold wandering swelling, and tinea (five diseases), crush with vinegar and apply. For snake bites, poisonous scorpions, centipedes, sand lice, and Shigong (six diseases), crush with warm water. Mix with Amaranthus Tricolor (Chixian) and apply.
For difficult childbirth, abdominal colic, continuous lochia, and blood stasis discharge due to pain (six diseases), take one seed, crush with one cup of wine, and take warm.
For leukorrhea and sudden diarrhea (two diseases), crush with chestnut juice and take warm. For dental caries, carve finely and insert into the cavity, heals immediately. Powder the seed, apply to sores, very effective for muscle regeneration. This method comes from the Great Physician's Original Prescription of the Zhi family.
Salt Ingestion Prescription, for treating sudden heat diseases, headache, dizziness, sudden heart and abdominal pain, impending cholera, phlegm-fluid retention, undigested food, Qi fullness and panting, chronic bloody-white discharge, accumulations with vomiting, fatigue, sallow complexion, malaria, and various winds. Method of ingestion:
Take high-quality salt, hold a soybean-sized amount in the mouth without swallowing. Soon, saliva will fill the mouth near the teeth. Then take a square-inch spoonful of salt, put in mouth, swallow with water simultaneously. Otherwise, let it dissolve. For chronic throat illness, long-term users, take for two to three months, every morning first. It may induce vomiting or calm acute diseases; take three square-inch spoonfuls. Induces vomiting/diarrhea if pathogenic; does not induce if no pathogen. Increase dose if needed. New malaria cases cure immediately. Heart/abdominal pain and fullness benefit from vomiting/diarrhea. For chronic illness, feeling warmth in the heart is good; take every three to five days, also good. Increase dose. Inducing vomiting/diarrhea does not harm; long-term use greatly tonifies, supplementing kidney Qi and Five Stones, curing all diseases. Regretfully, people do not take it long-term. This prescription varies; *Duanju* says for sudden heart pain, ghost qi, undigested food, cholera Qi fullness poisoning, make into soup, take one to two sheng, prick throat to vomit, good.

The above medicines are mainly used in Lingnan, still listed here for reference. All medicines are prepared as finished formulations. Self-mixing and storing these preparations is prioritized alongside clothing and food.
Crownvetch Radix (Changshan) fourteen liang, Shuqi, Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao) one jin, Donkey-hide Gelatin (Ejiao) seven liang, Ostrea Concha (Muli), Cinnabar (Zhusha), Isatidis Radix (Daqing) each seven liang; Turtle (Bie) three pieces; Pangolin Scales (Lingli Jia) one jin; Cuttlebone (Wuzei Gu), Ma Linzi one large sheng; Shu Shengma fourteen liang; Areca Seed (Binglang) fifty pieces; Dragon Bone (Longgu), Red Halloysite (Chishizhi), Antelope Horn (Lingyang Jiao) three pieces; Tangerine Peel (Jupi), Angelicae Pubescentis Radix (Duhuo). Those without specified weight are four liang each. Use Mirabilite (Mangxiao) one sheng, good.

Jinya San, Yuhu Huang Wan, Sanwu Beiji Yao. Zixue, Danshen, Cao Gao, Yuhuang Wan, Du Zhang San, Mo San Lizhong San, Dysentery Medicine, Ding Zhong Yao. If there are side notes, whichever one is obtained is best.
Laojun Shenming Baigan San.
Atractylodis Rhizoma (Zhu), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Fuzi, processed) each two liang; Aconiti Radix (Wutou, processed), Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng) two liang; Asari Radix (Xixin) one liang. Crush, sieve. Take in the morning, five square-inch spoonfuls. If one family has the medicine, the neighborhood is free of disease. Carriers repel encountered pathogenic qi. If others get sick, take one square-inch spoonful with warm wine. If already four or five days, take three spoonfuls of powder, three sheng of water, boil three times, take one sheng, induce sweat, then cured.
Cloud Common Disease-Repealing Powder.
Pearl (Zhenzhu), Cinnamon Bark (Gu Rou) each one fen; Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulb (Beimu) three fen; Almond (Xingren) two fen, roasted; Egg White (Jizi Bai), roasted until yellow-black, three fen. Five herbs crushed, sieved. Take one square-inch spoonful on New Year's Day. If many illnesses occur during the year, take on the first and fifteenth of each month.
Single Herb Prescriptions.
Cypress in the south-facing shrine, eastern branch, dry, powder, take one square-inch spoonful. Yao says, prepare for epidemic outbreaks. Named Baizhi San, taking it is divine and good. *Shanfan Fang* says, in the morning, walk south, see cypress in the shrine, collect it immediately.
Prescription to Stop Warm Diseases and Prevent Contagion.
Roast fermented soybeans (Chi), new rice, soak in wine, take regularly.

Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang) five fen, Sichuan Zanthoxyl Pericarpium (Chuanjiao) five fen, Atractylodis Rhizoma (Zhu), Cinnamomum Cassia (Gui) each three fen; Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng) four fen; Aconiti Radix (Wutou) one fen; unspecified wedge two fen. Seven herbs finely chopped, store in silk bag. On the last day of the twelfth lunar month at noon, hang in the well to the mud. Retrieve before dawn celebrations on New Year's Day. Put medicine in wine, drink Tusu wine facing east. Hanging medicine in the well welcomes the year, preventing this disease generation after generation. This is Hua Tuo's method, recorded in Emperor Wu's verification methods, from young to old. Drink according to capacity. One person drinks, the family is safe. Drink medicine for three mornings.

Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Xiong), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), and unspecified Ben (Ben) equal parts. Sieve, mix into powder, apply powder to body, very good.

Zhang Zhongjing's Sanwu Beiji Prescription, made into powder by Sima Pei Xiu, used to treat various heart and abdominal diseases, sudden hundred diseases.
Use Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang), Zingiberis Rhizoma (Ganjiang), Crotonis Fructus (Badou) each one liang, must be fresh and good quality. Crush, sieve, mix with honey. Pound another thousand times. Make pills the size of small beans, take three pills. Adjust for old and young; powder is less effective than pills. For evil qi invasion, abdominal distension, sudden pain like needle刺, shortness of breath, locked jaw, sudden death (Tingshi), take with warm water or wine. If not expelled, lift head, pour down throat, soon cured. If unknown, give three more pills. Abdomen will rumble, then vomit/diarrhea, then cured. If jaw is locked, break teeth to pour medicine in; once in throat, cured.
Cui's *Haishang Fang* says: Saposhnikoviae Radix (Weilingxian) removes various winds, unblocks the twelve meridians. This medicine works morning taken, evening effective. Clears cold pus from five zang, old water transformation diseases, mild diarrhea without severe loose stools. People taking it feel light limbs, warm hands and feet, and coolness. At that time, someone in Shangzhou suffered from heavy legs, unable to touch the ground for ten years, not cured. Suddenly met a Silla monk who said this disease has medicine to treat, went into mountains to seek it. Sent to take it for several days, recovered, left this medicine name and departed.
This medicine treats men and women with wind-stroke muteness, limbs not moving, facial deviation, bone/joint wind, fetal wind, headache wind, hidden wind, heart wind, wind madness. Shanghan headache, clear nasal discharge, after two courses, Shanghan stops. Dizziness, vitiligo, extreme treatment. Major wind, skin wind itch. Major toxin, heat toxin, wind sores, deeply treats consumptive diseases. Waist/bone/joint wind, wrist wind, slurred speech, phlegm accumulation. Unblocks five zang, old stagnation in abdomen, phlegm-water in heart, old pus in bladder, saliva in mouth, craving tea stains. Limb stubborn bi, cold/heat Qi congestion, waist/knee pain, unable to stand long, floating qi/miasma, aversion to cold and high fever. Headache especially severe, attacking ears causing pus and deafness. Rushing eyes red, large/small intestine constipation, taking this immediately unblocks, diet stops. Jaundice, black jaundice, pale face. Scrofula all over neck, postpartum constipation and waist pain, previous injury/fall heart pain. Injected Qi, diaphragm Qi, cold Qi attacking, Kidney, wind congestion, abdominal distension, head/face edema, injected toxin Spleen/Lung Qi phlegm-heat, cough, shortness of breath, restlessness, scabies/tinea sores. Morning apply if spit, if treating bad odor, apply medicine to body, inside and out, should recover.
Children's innocent disease, let mother hold medicine and feed. Hemorrhoid constipation, Qi dysentery knotting, all treated. Weilingxian single herb, wash, roast, powder, mix with good wine, make slightly wet, put in bamboo tube, seal tightly, nine steam nine sun-dry. If dry, add wine and spray again, mix with white honey to make pills. Size of Toona Sinensis seeds, take twenty to thirty pills each time, down with soup/wine.
*Qianjin Fang* says, on May 5th at noon, cut Epimedium leaves close to the ground.
Wash, dry, roast, crush, sieve. Take with wine or sour water. One square-inch spoonful, three times day, three times night. If seasonal Qi discordant, whole family takes it. If stomach distension, heart stuffiness, fever, take it. Kills three worms, intestinal hemorrhoids, promotes eating, take for one year, good.
