Saponariae Fructus (30 pods, coated with butter, roasted, skin removed, sliced and decocted to remove dregs) Polygoni Multiflori Radix Praeparata (4 liang, steamed) Menthae Haplocalycis Folium Dry (4 liang) Lean Mutton (half jin) Scrophulariae Radix (4 liang)

Boil the mutton in Saponariae Fructus water until tender. Grind finely, mix with the other herbs, and make pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 20 pills per dose, administered on an empty stomach with warm wine; decoction of Menthae Haplocalycis Folium is also acceptable.
