[Da] In women, the syndrome of blood wind and vexation/stuffiness arises from laborious injury to the fu and zang organs. Deficiency of qi and blood allows wind pathogen to invade; it contends with the blood vessels, causing qi mechanism to be obstructed and stagnant, thereby generating internal heat. Symptoms may include vexing pain in the limbs and joints, dry mouth, and reduced sleep. All these are due to physical weakness leading to stagnation and obstruction of qi and blood, resulting in vexation and stuffiness.
