Another Prescription: Take a piece of Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) the size of a fingernail. Hold it in the mouth every morning, allowing saliva to collect in the palm. Use this saliva to wipe the eyes, then rinse with water. Continue for one hundred days to restore clear vision. Practicing this throughout life can permanently eliminate eye diseases.
For eye dryness, grittiness, and sticky discharge during summer months or while walking: Take five to seven leaves of fresh Mentha Haplocalyx (Longnao Bohe), wash them clean, crush them by hand, wring out the juice using raw silk, and drip into the eyes. This is excellent.

Use this saline saliva to wash the inner and outer corners of both eyes. Keep eyes closed for a long time, then wash face with water.
