《养生方》云∶封君达常乘青牛,鲁女生常乘驳牛,孟子绰常乘驳马,尹公度常乘青骡

Even if the illness appears to have subsided, the Yin and Yang (Yin-Yang, the opposing forces of nature) are not yet harmonized. If sexual intercourse occurs too early, it causes swelling of the genitals and retraction into the abdomen, accompanied by abdominal pain. This condition is named "Jiaojie Laofu" (Relapse due to Sexual Intercourse).
The term "Laofu" refers to a situation where the patient previously had lingering diseases or suffered from deficiency-fatigue (Xu Lao), wind-cold (Feng Leng), accumulation-masses (Ji Ju), or cold-colic (Han Shan). After contracting a warm-heat disease (Wen Bing) and undergoing treatments such as sweating (Fa Han), vomiting (Tu), or purging (Xia), although the pathogenic heat has receded, the Qi and Blood (Qi-Xue, vital energy and blood) are damaged, and the Zang-Fu organs (Zang-Fu, internal organs) are all deficient. Consequently, various illnesses arise from this state.
These diseases occur because the seasonal rhythms are disordered, and warmth and coolness are unregulated. People contract abnormal and hostile pathogens (Guai Li Zhi Qi), causing the pathogenic factors to transmit and infect one another, potentially wiping out entire households and spreading to outsiders. Therefore, it is necessary to take medicine in advance and employ magical methods for prevention.
The symptoms of this illness are similar to those of seasonal qi diseases, warm diseases, and heat diseases. All result from disordered solar terms within a year, irregular cold and heat patterns, violent storms, heavy rain, or persistent fog and dew, leading to widespread epidemics among the people. Regardless of age, patients exhibit similar symptoms, resembling the influence of ghostly malevolent energies; hence, it is called "Yili Disease" (Epidemic Pestilence).
The *Yangsheng Fang* (Prescriptions for Nourishing Life) states: Feng Junda often rode a green ox, Lu Nvsheng often rode a piebald ox, Meng Zichuo often rode a piebald horse, and Yin Gongdu often rode a green mule. At that time, people did not know their real names, so they said, "If you wish not to die, ask the Green Ox Daoist." To obtain protection associated with these colors, the piebald ox is superior, the green ox is next, and the piebald horse is third. These three colors correspond to the generative Qi (Sheng Qi). It is said that the ancient "Green Ox" was the spirit essence of cypress wood; the "Piebald Ox" was an ancestor of the ancient Divine Ancestor; the "Piebald Horse" was the progenitor of divine dragons. It is claimed that Daoists riding these animals on roads would cause all evil spirits and malignant ghosts of epidemics to bow deeply in reverence/fear.
The *Yangsheng Fang · Daoyin Fa* (Guiding and Pulling Method) states: The way to prolong life lies in visualizing the Heart Qi as red, Liver Qi as green, Lung Qi as white, Spleen Qi as yellow, and Kidney Qi as black, allowing them to circulate around the body, thereby also repelling evil ghosts. To drive away various evils and hundred ghosts, one should constantly visualize the heart as a flame like a measuring dipper, shining brightly, so that no evil dare interfere. One can then enter areas affected by epidemic fevers.
When heat-toxin (Re Du) is excessive, sores erupt, covering the whole body, resembling burns. If the sores are red with white heads, the toxin is mild; if they are dark purple and bruised, the toxin is severe. This condition is also known as "Pea Sores" (Wandou Chuang).
