\r十二段锦第一图\pt151A257.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第二图\pt151A258.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第三图\pt151A259.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第四图\pt151A260.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第五图\pt151A261.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第六图\pt151A262.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第七图\pt151A263.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第八图\pt151A264.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第九图\pt151A265.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第十图\pt151A266.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第十一图\pt151A267.bmp\r
\r十二段锦第十二图\pt151A268.bmp\r

Sit with eyes closed and mind in meditation, grasp fingers firmly and quietly contemplate the spirit. Click teeth thirty-six times.
Hold the Kunlun (head) with both hands. Strike the Heavenly Drum left and right, heard twenty-four times each side.
Slightly sway and shake the Tianzhu (neck). The Red Dragon (tongue) stirs the water fluid, rinse thirty-six times.
Divine Water fills the mouth evenly; swallow one portion divided into three parts. When the Dragon moves, the Tiger runs naturally.
Hold breath, rub hands until hot, massage the posterior Jing Gate. Exhaust this one breath,
visualize fire burning at the Umbilical Wheel (Dantian). Rotate the pulley left and right. Extend legs comfortably,
cross hands and lift empty air. Lower head to grasp feet frequently. Wait for Divine Water to arrive,
rinse again and swallow saliva again. After completing this cycle three times, swallow Divine Water nine times.
Swallow with a sound, hundred vessels regulate themselves evenly. After the River Cart transport is complete,
visualize fire spreading heat through the body. Formerly named Eight Section Brocade, practice after Zi hour and before Wu hour.
Practice diligently without interruption, ten thousand diseases turn to dust.
The above constitutes the total summary of the whole body. Practice must follow the sequence, neither omitting nor disordering. First memorize this song well, then carefully read the following images and detailed notes for each image.
Each verse will be free from error. Twelve images are attached afterwards.
Twelve Section Brocade - First Image \pt151A257.bmp\
Sit with eyes closed and mind in meditation, grasp fingers firmly and quietly contemplate the spirit.
In this image, sit cross-legged, close both eyes tightly, and extinguish distracting thoughts in the heart. Whenever sitting, straighten the spine; the waist must not be weak, and the body must not lean on anything.
Grasping fingers firmly means holding hands securely, which can close the gates and repel evil influences. Quiet contemplation means resting thoughts and preserving the spirit.
Twelve Section Brocade - Second Image \pt151A258.bmp\
Click teeth thirty-six times, hold Kunlun (head) with both hands.
Upper and lower teeth click together making sound, preferably thirty-six clicks. Clicking teeth gathers the spirit within the teeth so it does not scatter. Kunlun refers to the head. Cross the ten fingers of both hands and hold the back of the neck.
Then use palms to tightly cover the ear openings, secretly count nine nasal breaths. Breathe slightly and softly, avoiding audible sounds.
Twelve Section Brocade - Third Image \pt151A259.bmp\
Strike Heavenly Drum left and right, heard twenty-four times.
After counting nine inhalations and nine exhalations through the nose, release the crossed hands. Move both palms to rub the ears. Place the second finger folded over the middle finger, press down forcefully with the second finger,
and strike the back of the head heavily, producing a sound like beating a drum. Do this twenty-four times on each side, totaling forty-eight strikes with both hands. Then release hands and grasp fingers firmly again.
Twelve Section Brocade - Fourth Image \pt151A260.bmp\
Slightly sway and shake Tianzhu (neck).
Tianzhu refers to the back of the neck. Lower the head and twist the neck, looking sideways to the left and right. Shoulders also sway left and right accordingly, twenty-four times each.
Twelve Section Brocade - Fifth Image \pt151A261.bmp\
Red Dragon (tongue) stirs water fluid, rinse thirty-six times, Divine Water fills mouth evenly, swallow one portion divided into three. When Dragon moves, Tiger runs.
Red Dragon refers to the tongue. Press the tongue against the palate, then stir it around the inside of the mouth, upper and lower sides, to generate saliva naturally. Rinse in the mouth
thirty-six times. Divine Water refers to saliva. Divide into three portions and swallow silently. Mentally visualize and visually guide the swallowed saliva
directly to the Dantian below the navel. Dragon refers to saliva, Tiger refers to Qi; as saliva descends, Qi follows naturally.
Twelve Section Brocade - Sixth Image \pt151A262.bmp\
Hold breath, rub hands until hot, massage posterior Jing Gate.
Inhale through the nose and hold the breath. Rub both palms together until extremely hot. Quickly separate hands and rub the two sides of the lower back. While doing so, slowly exhale through the nose.
Jing Gate refers to the soft areas on both sides of the lower back. Rub twenty-six times with both hands, then retract hands and grasp fingers firmly.
Twelve Section Brocade - Seventh Image \pt151A263.bmp\
Exhaust this one breath, visualize fire burning at Umbilical Wheel (Dantian).
Close mouth and nose to hold breath. With the mind, visualize transporting fire from the heart center to burn downwards into the Dantian. Feel a sensation of heat, then exhale through the nose. Umbilical Wheel refers to the Dantian at the navel.
Twelve Section Brocade - Eighth Image \pt151A264.bmp\
Rotate pulley left and right.
Bend arms. First, rotate the left hand connected with the shoulder in circles thirty-six times, like a winch. Do the same with the right hand. This is the single rotation pulley method.
Twelve Section Brocade - Ninth Image \pt151A265.bmp\
Extend legs comfortably, cross hands and lift empty air.
Release the crossed legs, extending them flat forward. Cross fingers of both hands, turn palms upward. Place crossed hands above the head first, and push upwards with force,
as if supporting heavy stones. Engage the waist and body to rise upwards. After one lift, lower hands back to the top of the head, then lift again. Repeat nine times in total.
Twelve Section Brocade - Tenth Image \pt151A266.bmp\
Lower head to grasp feet frequently.
Use both hands to pull the soles of the extended feet with force. Lower the head twelve times in a bowing posture. Then retract legs to sit cross-legged, retract hands and grasp fingers firmly.
Twelve Section Brocade - Eleventh Image \pt151A267.bmp\
Wait for Divine Water to arrive, rinse again and swallow saliva again. After completing this three times, swallow Divine Water nine times. Swallow with sound, hundred vessels regulate evenly.
Stir the mouth with the tongue again to wait for Divine Water to fill the mouth. Rinse thirty-six times again. Including the previous one, this is the second round. Complete three rounds in total. The first round involved three swallows, these two rounds involve six swallows, totaling nine swallows. Swallow as before, making a sound. Swallowing saliva three times allows hundred vessels to circulate and regulate evenly throughout.
Twelve Section Brocade - Twelfth Image \pt151A268.bmp\
River Cart transport complete, visualize fire spreading heat through body. Formerly named Eight Section Brocade, practice after Zi hour and before Wu hour. Practice diligently without interruption, ten thousand diseases turn to dust.
Visualize heat in the Dantian below the navel, like fire. Hold breath as if bearing stool. Transport the heat to the Gu Dao (anus), then up to the waist,
spine, back of neck, back of head, and top of the head. Then hold breath again, descending from the temples near the ears on the forehead, front cheeks, down to the throat, chest pit, navel,
and stopping at the lower Dantian. Visualize fire spreading heat through the entire body.
