安神丸
生地 朱砂（水飞） 当归（各一钱） 甘草（五分） 黄连（一钱五分）
汤浸，蒸饼为丸，如黍米大，每服十五丸，或二十丸，津咽，或用温水送下。
导赤散 娄全善云∶一壮年，梦遗白浊，与涩精药益甚，改用导赤散，大剂服之
，遗浊皆止。
生地 木通 甘草（等分） 竹叶（二十片）
水煎服。一方加人参、麦门冬。
茯神汤 治思想太过，梦泄，夜卧心悸。
茯神（去皮木，一钱五分） 远志 石菖蒲 茯苓（各一钱） 枣仁（炒，一钱二分） 人参
当归（各一钱） 甘草（四分） 黄连 生地（各八分）
水二盅，莲子七枚，捶碎，煎八分，食前服。
莲子六一汤 治心热梦遗赤浊。
石莲肉（连心用，六两） 甘草（炙，一两）
上为末，每服二钱，食后灯心一小撮煎汤调下。
王荆公妙香散 安神闭精，定心气。
人参 益智仁 龙骨（五色者，各一两） 白茯苓 茯神（去木） 远志（去心，各半两）
朱砂（研） 甘草（炙，各二钱半）
上为细末，每服二钱，空心温酒调服。
真珠丸
真珠（六两，以牡蛎六两，用水同煎一日，去牡蛎，以真珠为末。）
上于乳钵内，研三五日后，宽着水飞过，候干，用蒸饼和丸，如梧子大，每服二十丸，
食前温酒送下。
珍珠粉丸
黄柏（新瓦上炒赤） 真蛤粉（各一斤） 真珠（三两）
上为末，滴水丸梧子大，每服一百丸，空心温酒送下。
法曰，阳盛乘阴，故精泄；黄柏降火清心，蛤粉咸而补肾阴，易老方无真珠一味。（《
正传》）
定志珍珠丸 治心虚梦泄。
蛤粉 黄柏 人参 白茯苓（各三两） 远志 石菖蒲 青黛（各二两） 樗根白皮（一两）
上为末，面糊丸梧子大，青黛为衣，空心姜盐汤下五十丸。（《正传》）
《本事》清心丸 治年壮气盛，久节淫欲，经络壅热梦漏，心忪恍惚。
好黄柏皮一两，为细末，用生脑子一钱同研，炼蜜丸如梧子大，每服十丸至十五丸
，浓煎麦冬汤下。
大智禅师云∶梦遗不可全作虚冷，亦有经络热而得之者是也。常治一人，至夜脊心热梦
遗，用珍珠丸、猪苓丸，遗止。后服紫雪，脊热始除，或清心丸，亦佳。（《本事》）
Anshen Wan (Calming the Spirit Pill)
Shengdi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Zhusha (Cinnabar, processed by water levigation), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (each 1 qian), Gancao (Licorice Root) (0.5 qian), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) (1.5 qian).
Soak in decoction, form pills with steamed wheat cake, size like millet seeds. Take 15 or 20 pills per dose, swallow with saliva or take with warm water.
Daochi San (Drain the Red Powder)
Lou Quanshan stated: A young man suffered from nocturnal emission and leukorrhea. Treatment with astringent herbs for essence worsened his condition. Switching to Daochi San in large doses stopped both emissions and turbidity.
Shengdi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis), Gancao (Licorice Root) (equal parts), Zhuye (Bambusae Folium) (20 leaves).
Decoct in water and take orally. Another prescription adds Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) and Maidong (Ophiopogonis Tuber).
Fushen Tang (Poria Cocos Decoction)
Treats nocturnal emission due to excessive thinking, and palpitations during sleep.
Fushen (Poria Cocos with Wood Removed) (1.5 qian), Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix), Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria) (each 1 qian), Zaoren (Ziziphi Spinosomi Semen, stir-fried) (1.2 qian), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (each 1 qian), Gancao (Licorice Root) (0.4 qian), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Shengdi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix) (each 0.8 qian).
Use two cups of water, seven lotus seeds (crushed), decoct until one-eighth remains. Take before meals.
Lianzi Liuyi Tang (Lotus Seed Six-to-One Decoction)
Treats nocturnal emission and red leukorrhea caused by Heart heat.
Shilian Rou (Nelumbinis Semen, retaining the plumule) (6 liang), Gancao (Licorice Root, honey-fried) (1 liang).
Grind into fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose after meals, mixed with decoction of a small pinch of Dengxin Cao (Junci Medullia).
Wang Jinggong Miaoxiang San (Lord Wang Jinggong's Wonderful Fragrance Powder)
Calms the spirit, secures essence, and stabilizes Heart Qi.
Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Yizhiren (Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Semen), Longgu (Fossilized Bones, five-colored ones, each 1 liang), Bai Fuling (Poria), Fushen (Poria Cocos with Wood Removed), Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix, heart removed, each 0.5 liang), Zhusha (Cinnabar, ground), Gancao (Licorice Root, honey-fried, each 2.5 qian).
Grind into fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose on an empty stomach, mixed with warm wine.
Zhenzhu Wan (Pearl Pill)
Zhenzhu (Pearl) (6 liang, boiled with 6 liang of Muli (Ostrea Shell) in water for one day, remove Muli, grind Pearl into powder.)
Grind in a mortar for three to five days, levigate with ample water, dry, and mix with steamed wheat cake to form pills the size of Sophora seeds. Take 20 pills per dose before meals with warm wine.
Zhenzhu Fen Wan (Pearl Powder Pill)
Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, fried on new tile until red), Zhen Gefen (True Clam Powder) (each 1 jin), Zhenzhu (Pearl) (3 liang).
Grind into powder, add drops of water to form pills the size of Sophora seeds. Take 100 pills per dose on an empty stomach with warm wine.
The medical principle states: Excess Yang invading Yin causes seminal emission; Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex) descends fire and clears the Heart, while Gefen (Clam Powder) is salty and tonifies Kidney Yin. The original formula by Liu Wansu does not contain Pearl. (From *Zhuan*)
Dingzhi Zhenzhu Wan (Stabilize Will Pearl Pill)
Treats nocturnal emission due to Heart deficiency.
Gefen (Clam Powder), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Bai Fuling (Poria) (each 3 liang), Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix), Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis) (each 2 liang), Chugen Bapi (Phellodendri Amurensis Cortex) (1 liang).
Grind into powder, form pills with flour paste the size of Sophora seeds, coat with Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis). Take 50 pills on an empty stomach with ginger-salt water. (From *Zhuan*)
Qingxin Wan (Clear Heart Pill) from *Ben Shi Fang*
Treats young men with vigorous Qi who have long abstained from sexual activity, leading to heat accumulation in meridians, nocturnal emission, palpitations, and mental confusion.
Good Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex) skin 1 liang, ground into fine powder, mixed with 1 qian of Sheng Naozi (Borneolum Syntheticum), and formed into pills with refined honey the size of Sophora seeds. Take 10 to 15 pills per dose with strong decoction of Maidong (Ophiopogonis Tuber).
Chan Master Dazhi said: Nocturnal emission should not be entirely treated as deficiency-cold; some cases are caused by heat in the meridians. I once treated a patient who had heat in the spine at night and nocturnal emission. Using Zhenzhu Wan (Pearl Pill) and Zhuling Wan (Polyporus Pill) stopped the emission. Later, taking Zixue (Purple Snow) eliminated the spinal heat. Alternatively, Qingxin Wan (Clear Heart Pill) is also effective. (From *Ben Shi*)
