在胃,颇在肺,病名曰厥,死不治。此得五有余,二不足。曰∶何谓五有余、二不足?曰∶

Yellow Emperor asked, saying: The "Stitching Joint True Evil" chapter mentions "Qu Yi" (Removing Clothes), stating that it involves needling the branch collaterals of the joints. I wish to hear the details. Qibo replied, saying: The waist and spine are the key joints of the human body; the thighs are the basis for walking and running; the penis and testicles are the mechanisms within the body, indicators of Yin fluids, and pathways for the flow of Jin Ye (Body Fluids). Therefore, if dietary intake is not regulated, and emotions of joy and anger are not expressed at appropriate times, Jin Ye will flow inward and overflow downward into the testicles. This leads to the obstruction of the water passages, internal heat without rest, difficulty in bending and stretching, inability to walk or run, swelling with fluid accumulation (Ran Ran Shui), where the fluid neither rises nor falls. As selected by Shi Bu (a specific location/method), the form cannot be hidden, and trousers cannot cover it. This condition is named "Qu Yi".
The Yellow Emperor asked again: There is a case of Long Bi (Dysuria/Retention of Urine) where urination occurs dozens of times a day; this is due to deficiency. If the body feels hot like charcoal, the neck and chest feel blocked or rejected, the Renying pulse (Radial Artery at the Neck) is agitated and vigorous, accompanied by wheezing and reversed Qi, this is due to excess (In Su Wen, there is an additional phrase "Yang Qi is excessively abundant on the exterior"). If Yin Qi is deficient, the Taiyin pulse becomes thin as a hair; this is also a sign of deficiency. Where is the disease located? Qibo said: The disease is in the Taiyin, its excess is in the Stomach, and it significantly involves the Lung. The disease name is Jue (Reversal/Cold Extremities), which is a fatal condition and untreatable. This presents five excesses and two deficiencies.
The Yellow Emperor asked: What do you mean by five excesses and two deficiencies? Qibo said: The so-called five excesses refer to the excess of pathogenic Qi; the two deficiencies also refer to the deficiency caused by pathogenic Qi. Now, externally there are five excesses, and internally there are two deficiencies. This indicates that the disease is neither in the exterior nor the interior, which is a clear sign of death.
Hu Shan (Fox Hernia) with palpitations and shortness of breath is primarily treated by Juque (CV14). Yin Hernia pulling pain to the testicles is primarily treated by Yinjiao (RN7). Lower abdominal pain, difficult urination, and flaccidity of the genitalia are primarily treated by Henggu (KI13). Lower abdominal hernia, prone to waking up startled during sleep, is primarily treated by Qihai (CV6). Sudden hernia with great heat in the lower abdomen is primarily treated by Guanyuan (CV4). Yin Hernia and Qi Hernia are primarily treated by Tianshu (ST25). [Missing Character] Hernia is primarily treated by Daju (BL27), Dijji (SP8), and Zhong [Missing Character]. Yin Hernia with Wei Syndrome (Flaccidity), pain in the shaft of the penis, retraction of both testicles, and inability to lie on the back while sleeping, is treated by needling the Qie Street (Qichong ST30 area). Yin Hernia is primarily treated by Chongmen (SP12). Male Yin Hernia with testicles moving up and down and lower abdominal pain is primarily treated by Wushu (GB26). Pain in the inner thigh, Qi Abscess, Hu Shan moving up and down pulling the lower abdomen, and inability to bend or stretch, is primarily treated by Shangqiu (SP5). Hu Shan is primarily treated by Taichong (LR3). Abdominal pain rushing upward to the heart, fullness below the heart, Long Bi, pain in the penile shaft, anger causing unwillingness to look, weeping, and deep sighing are primarily treated by Xingjian (LR2). Dian Hernia and sudden severe pain in the yin region (In Qian Jin Fang, this is "Hernia Yin Sudden Pain", accompanied by Wei Jue and numbness of the body) is primarily treated by Zhongfeng (LR6). Hernia, Long Bi, pain radiating from the umbilicus and lower abdomen to the waist, is primarily treated by Zhongfeng (LR6). Qi pain and Long Bi, yellow urine, Qi stagnation and blockage, enuresis in deficiency patterns, alternating chills and fever, vomiting and reflux, difficult urination, and abdominal fullness are primarily treated by Shimen (CV5). Qi Long Bi, tension in the yin region due to hernia, pain in the inner aspect of the thigh root, is primarily treated by Jiaoxin (KI8). Yin Tiao and lower back pain, with erection and elongation in excess patterns, chills and fever, spasms, sudden yin pain, enuresis, unilateral swelling, itching and Qi reversal in deficiency patterns, sudden swelling and hernia of the testicles, difficult urination resembling Long Bi, frequent belching, fear and palpitations, Qi deficiency, abdominal depression, lower abdominal pain, heat in the throat, sensation of a lump wanting to emerge but unable to, back spasm preventing bending/stretching, is primarily treated by Ligou (LR5). Male Hernia, throbbing pain in the yin region radiating to the perineum, inability to urinate, abdominal distension, flank fullness, closure and Long Bi, impotence, occasional diarrhea, limbs unable to hold themselves, body pain in excess patterns, absence of sweating, blurred vision, anger wanting to kill people, sudden pain radiating to the patella, heat in the lower joints, tendon spasms and knee pain preventing flexion/extension, mania resembling new-onset epilepsy, epistaxis, anorexia, panting, lower abdominal pain radiating to belching, pain in the Foot-Jueyin channel, is primarily treated by Yongquan (KI1). Long Bi and Hernia are primarily treated by Ranggu (KI2). Sudden Hernia with lower abdominal pain is primarily treated by Zhaohai (KI6); treat the right side for left-sided disease, and the left side for right-sided disease, and it will resolve immediately.
