The Jing-Well point Qiaoyin (GB44, Gallbladder 44) of the Gallbladder Meridian belongs to Metal. It is located at the lateral end of the fourth toe, approximately the width of a leek leaf from the corner of the nail. It is the source of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian and is classified as a Jing-Well point. The needle insertion depth is 3 fen; retain the needle for three breaths (Note in *Qixue Lun* states "one breath"). Moxibustion: 3 moxa cones.
Xiaxi (GB43, Gallbladder 43) belongs to Water. It is located in the depression between the bifurcation of the fourth and fifth toes, anterior to the proximal interphalangeal joint. It is where the Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian flows through, classified as a Ying-Spring point. Needle insertion depth is 3 fen; retain for three breaths; moxibustion: 3 moxa cones.
Diwuhui (GB42, Gallbladder 42) is located in the depression posterior to the metatarsophalangeal joint of the fourth and fifth toes. Needle insertion depth is 3 fen. Moxibustion is contraindicated; if applied, it causes emaciation and death within three years.
Linqi (GB41, Gallbladder 41) belongs to Wood. It is located in the depression posterior to the metatarsophalangeal joint of the fourth and fifth toes, 1.5 cun distal to Xiaxi. It is where the Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian pours into, classified as a Shu-Stream point. Needle insertion depth is 2 fen; moxibustion: 3 moxa cones.
Qiuxu (GB40, Gallbladder 40) is located in the depression anterior to the lateral malleolus, 1 cun distal to Linqi. It is where the Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian passes through, classified as the Yuan-Source point. Needle insertion depth is 5 fen; retain for seven breaths; moxibustion: 3 moxa cones.
Xuanzhong (GB39, Gallbladder 39) is located in the artery 3 cun superior to the tip of the lateral malleolus. This is the confluent point of the Three Yang meridians. Press here until the pulse of the Yangming meridian disappears to locate the point. Needle insertion depth is 6 fen; retain for seven breaths; moxibustion: 5 moxa cones.
Guangming (GB37, Gallbladder 37) is the Luo-Connecting point of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, located 5 cun superior to the tip of the lateral malleolus, diverging to connect with the Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian. Needle insertion depth is 6 fen; retain for seven breaths (Note in *Gukong Lun* states: "insert 7 fen, retain for ten breaths"); moxibustion: 3 moxa cones.
Waiqiu (GB36, Gallbladder 36) is the Xi-Cleft point of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, where the Shaoyang Qi originates. It is located 7 cun superior to the tip of the lateral malleolus. Needle insertion depth is 3 fen; moxibustion: 3 moxa cones.
Yangfu (GB38, Gallbladder 38) belongs to Fire. It is located 4 cun superior to the tip of the lateral malleolus (Note in *Qixue Lun* omits "4 cun"), anterior to the fibula, at the end of the bone gap (Juegu), approximately 3 fen deep, 7 cun distal to Qiuxu. It is where the Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian travels, classified as a Jing-River point. Needle insertion depth is 5 fen; retain for seven breaths; moxibustion: 3 moxa cones.
Yangjiao (GB35, Gallbladder 35), also known as Bieyang or Zu (missing character, likely referring to its connection), is the Xi-Cleft point of the Yangwei Vessel. It is located 7 cun superior to the medial malleolus, obliquely connecting within the muscle intervals of the Three Yang meridians. Needle insertion depth is 6 fen; retain for seven breaths; moxibustion: 3 moxa cones.
Yanglingquan (GB34, Gallbladder 34) belongs to Earth. It is located 1 cun inferior to the knee, in the depression on the lateral side of the head of the fibula. It is where the Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian enters, classified as a He-Sea point. Needle insertion depth is 6 fen; retain for ten breaths; moxibustion: 3 moxa cones.
Yangguan (Extra point, often associated with GB33 area or specific local points depending on edition context, here listed separately) is located 3 cun superior to Yanglingquan, in the depression lateral to Dubi (ST35). Needle insertion depth is 5 fen. Moxibustion is strictly prohibited.
Zhongdu (GB33, Gallbladder 33) is located on the lateral aspect of the femur, 5 cun superior to the knee, in the depression between the muscle bellies. It is where the Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian manifests. Needle insertion depth is 5 fen; retain for seven breaths; moxibustion: 5 moxa cones.
Huantiao (GB30, Gallbladder 30) is located in the hip joint (Bitshu). To locate it, lie on the side, extend the lower leg, and flex the upper leg. It is where the Qi of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian manifests. Needle insertion depth is 1 cun; retain for twenty breaths; moxibustion: 50 moxa cones. (Note in *Qixue Lun* states: "Posterior to Bitshu, it is the intersection of the Foot-Shaoyang and Foot-Taiyang meridians; moxibustion: 3 moxa cones.")
