(With supplementary additions)
Apoplexy (Zhong Feng): Wind pathogen enters the Zang organs, leading to Qi obstruction and phlegm-fluid accumulation. This results in aphasia (loss of speech), coma, and critical condition.
Acupoints: Baihui (GV20), Fengchi (GB20), Dazhui (GV14), Jianjing (GB21), Quchi (LI11), Jiashi (PC5), Zusanli (ST36).
Whenever one feels mental confusion and dispiritedness, or experiences numbness and stiffness in the limbs, indicating impending apoplexy, rapidly apply acupuncture and moxibustion to the aforementioned acupoints.

Sudden collapse and unconsciousness due to apoplexy.
Shenque (CV8): Use clean salt, stir-fried until dry, fill the umbilicus completely. Place a thick slice of ginger on top and moxibustion for 100 Zhu (units of moxa cone size/burns), up to 500 Zhu. Replace the ginger when it burns. Alternatively, use Sichuan pepper (Chuanjiao) instead of salt, placing the pepper at the bottom, covered by salt, then covered by ginger; moxibustion is also effective.
Dantian (CV11) and Qihai (CV6): Both acupoints connect with Mingmen (GV4), truly being the sea of vital Qi and the root of meridians. Moxibustion on these points yields significant efficacy.

Daiyan (Staring upwards/Eyes fixed upward): A syndrome of the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian. The eyes look upward. When looking upward severely and remaining fixed and motionless, it is named Daiyan.
Acupoints: Shenting (GV24), Sizhukong (TE23), Renzhong (GV26) [Jingyue Quanshu states it treats staring eyes].
Moxibustion on the third and fifth thoracic vertebrae above each with 7 Zhu. With fire applied simultaneously, immediate effect is observed.

Backward arching (Opisthotonos/Angong Fanzhang): Wind-Qi enters the Yang meridians due to deficiency, causing the waist and spine to arch backward and spasm tightly like a bow. Also known as Opisthotonos.
Acupoints: Baihui (GV20), Shenmen (HT7), Jiashi (PC5), Taichong (LR3), Puxan (BL61). Another method: Acupuncture at Yamen (GV15) and Fengfu (GV16).

Jaw lock (Trismus/Kou Jin): The tendons of the Hand-Yangming and other Yang meridians knot into the mandible and cheeks; the tendon of the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian ascends flanking the mouth. Wind-Cold enters due to deficiency, causing tendon spasms, resulting in tight jaw and trismus.
Acupoints: Renzhong (GV26), Chengjiang (CV24), Jiache (ST6), Hegu (LI4).

Facial paralysis (Kou Yan Xie/Wry mouth and eye): Caused by pathogenic factors invading the Yangming and Shaoyang meridians.
Acupoints: Shuigou (GV26), Chengjiang (CV24), Jiache (ST6) [needle towards Dicang], Dicang (ST4) [needle towards Jiache], Tinghui (GB2), Kerenren (ST7), Hegu (LI4).
For wry mouth turning to the right, it indicates Left Meridian apoplexy with flaccidity; moxibustion should be applied to the left Xianggu (ST43) for 14 Zhu, with moxa cones the size of wheat grains. For wry mouth turning to the left, it indicates Right Meridian apoplexy with flaccidity; moxibustion should be applied to the right Xianggu (ST43) for 14 Zhu.

Aphonia (Yin Ya): Heart affected by wind causes stiff tongue and inability to speak. Wind-Cold lodging in the epiglottis causes sudden loss of voice. Additionally, if the Kidney meridian does not ascend along the throat to flank the root of the tongue, speech is impossible; this is due to Kidney deficiency with hot phlegm.
Acupoints: Lingdao (HT4), Yuji (LU10), Yinggu (KI10), Fuliu (KI7), Fenglong (ST40).

Apoplexy with no sweat and aversion to cold: Acupuncture Zhiyin (BL67) [to bleed], Kunlun (BL60), Yangqiao Mai.
Apoplexy with sweat and aversion to wind: Acupuncture Fengfu (GV16). (The above two syndromes are Apoplexy of the Taiyang Meridian).

Apoplexy with no sweat, body heat, and no aversion to cold; Apoplexy with sweat, body heat, and no aversion to wind:
Acupuncture Xiangu (ST41) to eliminate the 'thief' of the Yangming Meridian; Acupuncture Lidui (ST45) to drain excess heat from the Yangming Meridian. (The above two syndromes are Apoplexy of the Yangming Meridian).

Apoplexy with no sweat and cool body: Acupuncture Yinbai (SP1) to eliminate the 'thief' of the Taiyin Meridian. (This syndrome is Apoplexy of the Taiyin Meridian).

Apoplexy with sweat but no fever: Acupuncture Taixi (KI3) [Text says "Tai", inferred as Taixi based on context of Shaoyin]. (This syndrome is Apoplexy of the Shaoyin Meridian).

When the six symptoms of apoplexy are confused, they relate to the Shaoyang and Jueyin meridians. If there is joint spasm and pain, or numbness and insensitivity, needle the Jing-Well point Daturun (LR1) of the Jueyin Meridian to unblock the meridian; moxibustion on the Juegu (GB39) of the Shaoyang Meridian to draw out the heat.

In cases of sudden fall and coma due to apoplexy, with phlegm-fluid obstruction and locked jaw, urgently prick the Twelve Jing-Well points on the fingers to remove evil blood. This also treats all sudden death conditions and intestinal colic/Sha disease.
Points: Shaoshang (LU11, bilateral), Shangyang (LI1, bilateral), Zhongchong (PC9, bilateral), Guanchong (TE1, bilateral), Shaochong (HT9, bilateral), Shaoze (SI1, bilateral).

Paralysis (Tan Huan): Caused by improper lifestyle/regimen, violent excess of Heart Fire, and deficiency of Kidney Water failing to control it, leading to Yin deficiency and Yang excess. Heat qi stagnates, confusing the Heart Spirit, rendering sinews and bones useless, resulting in sudden collapse and unconsciousness.
Acupoints: Jianjing (GB21), Jianyu (LI15), Quchi (LI11), Yangxi (LI5), Hegu (LI4), Zhongzhu (TE3), Fengshi (GB31), Yanglingquan (GB34), Yangfu (GB38), Kunlun (BL60), Zusanli (ST36).

Hemiplegia (Ban Shen Bu Sui): Caused by uneven circulation of Qi and Blood, also known as Pian Ku. If only the hand cannot lift and the mouth cannot speak, without other symptoms, this is "Zhong Jing" (Meridian stroke). Treat according to the respective meridian Shu points with acupuncture and moxibustion, combined with herbal medicine to tonify blood and nourish sinews for efficacy.
Acupoints: Baihui (GV20), Jianjing (GB21), Jianyu (LI15), Quchi (LI11), Shousanli (LI10), Lieque (LU7), Fengshi (GB31), Juegu (GB39), Zusanli (ST36).
For the above points, first needle the healthy side hands and feet, then needle the affected side hands and feet.
