(The horizontal branches of the meridians that connect with other meridians)
The song says: There are fifteen collateral vessels (Luo Mai, 络脉) in the human body. I will now list them one by one from the beginning. The collateral vessel of the Hand-Taiyin Lung Meridian is Lieque (LU-7). The collateral vessel of the Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian is Tongli (HT-5). The collateral vessel of the Hand-Jueyin Pericardium Meridian is Neiguan (PC-6). The collateral vessel of the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian is Guangming (GB-37). The collateral vessel of the Foot-Taiyin Spleen Meridian is Gongson (SP-4). The collateral vessel of the Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Meridian is named Dazhong (KI-4). The collateral vessel of the Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian is Ligou (LR-5). The collateral vessel of the Yangwei Vessel is Changqiang (GV-1). The collateral vessel of the Yin Ren Vessel (Ren Mai, Conception Vessel) is Wei Yi (CV-15, also known as Jiutui). The large collateral vessel of the Spleen is Dabao (SP-21). You must remember the names of these fifteen collaterals.
The Hand-Taiyin Lung Meridian originates at Zhongfu (LU-1). It is located one cun below Yunmen (LU-2). Yunmen and Qihu (ST-15) are two cun lateral to the midline. Below Yingchang (ST-9), between the two bones. Tianfu (LU-3) is found in the depression three cun below the axilla. Taiyuan (LU-9) is at the end of the transverse crease of the wrist. Yuji (LU-10) is among the dispersed pulses behind the metacarpophalangeal joint. Shaoshang (LU-11) is sought on the medial side of the thumb. There are eleven acupoints in total for your calculation.
The Hand-Yangming Large Intestine Meridian belongs to the Large Intestine. Shangyang (LI-1) is on the medial side of the index finger. Erjian (LI-2) is determined by taking the point anterior to the proximal interphalangeal joint. Sanjian (LI-3) is taken posterior to the proximal interphalangeal joint. Hegu (LI-4) is established one cun below the depression between the first and second metacarpal bones (Qigu). Shangjuxu (ST-37) is three cun below Quchi (LI-11). When the elbow is flexed, the gap at the head of the transverse cubital crease is Quchi (LI-11). Examine the outer edge of the large bone of the elbow. Wuli (LI-8) is measured three cun above the elbow. Binao (LI-14) is four cun above Wuli. Jianyu (LI-15) is in the center of the two bones at the shoulder tip. Jugu (LI-5) is inside the forked bone (clavicle and scapula) at the shoulder tip. Tianding (SI-11) is hidden above Quepen (ST-12). Futu (LI-18) is one cun below Qujie (the angle of the jaw). Heliao (LI-19) is five fen from Shuigou (GV-26, Renzhong). Within five fen lateral to the nasal aperture, both left and right points are Yingxiang (LI-20). (Twenty acupoints)
The Stomach Meridian is the Foot-Yangming Meridian. Toutou (ST-8) is sought one cun and five fen lateral to Benshen (GB-13). Xiaguan (ST-7) is where the artery beats before the ear. Jiache (ST-6) is truly located five fen below the ear. Chengqi (ST-1) is near seven cun below the eye (Note: Textual error likely, standard is 0.7 cun). Shuitu (ST-10) is in front of the large tendon of the neck. Directly below is Qishe (ST-11), leading up to Yingchang (ST-9). Qishe is below Yingchang, flanking Tiantu (CV-22). Quepen (ST-12) is close within the depression of the clavicle. Qihu (ST-15) and Yufu (BL-25? Note: Text likely refers to chest area points, Yufu is BL-25 but location description matches chest wall points like Kongzhu or similar, sticking to text: "Yufu") are two cun lateral. Six cun and four fen directly from the nipple. Kufang (ST-16), Wuyi (ST-17), and Yingchuang (ST-18) are near each other. Directly opposite the center of the nipple is Rugen (ST-17). Rugen (ST-18) emerges below the nipple. These five acupoints are each one cun and six fen apart. Burong (ST-19) is adjacent to Youmen (CV-15) by one cun and five fen. Chengman (ST-20), Liangmen (ST-21), and Guanmen (ST-22) follow. Taiyi (ST-23) is arranged next to Hairoumen (ST-24). Each separated by one cun, the acupoints are complete. Tianshu (ST-25) is placed lateral to the umbilicus. Wailing (ST-26) is one cun below Tianshu. Daju (ST-27) is at two cun, and Shuidao (ST-28) is at five cun. Guilai (ST-29) is its home at seven cun. Qichong (ST-30) is three cun lateral to Qugu (CV-2). [Text continues describing lower limb points] Bituan (ST-31) is placed six cun posterior to the thigh (rabbit area). Fubu (ST-32) is measured three cun above Shi (knee). Yinshi (ST-33) is approximately three cun above the knee. Liangqiu (ST-34) is its field at two cun. Seek Dubi (ST-35) below the kneecap. The four knee eyes (Xiyan) are on both sides. Three cun below the knee is the position of Zusanli (ST-36). Three cun below Zusanli is the ground of Shanglian (ST-37). One cun below Shanglian is Tiaokou (ST-38). Two cun below Tiaokou is Xiaolian (ST-39). Lidui (ST-45) is on the second toe.
